I love thelarge and heated outside pool, as well as the hill top location. The rooms are large too.

Good breakfast and nice swimming pool. The beds were really comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the room well.

We stayed at this place for 3 nights and used the swimming pool only once. It is an okay place to stay but it needs major upgrades. The door could not open with just one turn of the key. Sometimes we would just turn the key up until the door decided it was open. It is an old hotel and I get the look and feel but it needs some serious maintenance. The shower was so tiny in the corner of auch a big bathroom space…I didn’t like that.

Very nice old hotel, but quite difficult to access without a car. Room cleanliness could be improved.

A high-class hotel in a remarkable location. A beautiful view from the magnificent and very large swimming pool. The outdoor restaurant is superb, but a storm prevented us from enjoying it. The pool bar, with its very comfortable furniture, was excellent, and the cocktails were accompanied by numerous appetizers. Breakfast was generous and generally of good quality. The room was very spacious and very bright, with a view of Lake Varese. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was satisfactory, although it could have been a little more substantial. The only downside: a porter could be useful.

A superb experience at this hotel! We had a wonderful stay in May. The staff's welcome lived up to expectations. The room had an exceptional view! And what can I say about the pool, which is very large and pleasant. In short, I recommend it without hesitation 👍

Nice place with attentive service. Nice and varied breakfast, with a good view. A double bed is a set of two single mattresses, which makes the bed less comfortable. Access to the room by elevator. Tastefully decorated in a historic hotel.

Great hotel, just 7 minutes from the village center yet secluded. Excellent service. Great pool area. Attentive staff.

Excellent hotel with a great restaurant. The views are absolutely stunning. The hotel was a clean and stylish old building where everything worked perfectly. Excellent pool area and bar outside in the park.

The hotel certainly has its charm and is somewhat reminiscent of certain films where such sophisticated hotels appear. I really liked the location on the mountain, beautiful private road. But please bear in mind that you can't reach anything nearby on foot, so you'll always have to use a car. Great from the outside, but in my opinion the inside could use a bit of renovation. I had a single room on the fourth floor. The pictures didn't represent it quite accurately. The room was fine and as shown in the photos, but the bathroom was not as shown. It had a tiny corner shower that was difficult to move in. The mattress on the bed could do with replacing, it's seen better days. The entire hotel is carpeted. My personal opinion is that the room shouldn't have any carpeting; I would prefer parquet or tiles, as I find that more hygienic, although I must say that the floor looked very well maintained. The breakfast buffet was excellent and tasted very good, there was plenty of everything. The staff was super friendly and you could tell they enjoyed their job.
