My partner and I stayed at Hotel Europa for 2 nights on the occasion of a nearby wedding. We managed to check in early thanks to the kind lady at reception and I think we must’ve got a slight upgrade as our room had a balcony overlooking the square. The room itself features a good number of amenities like air conditioning, mini bar, a kettle and more. There is also a laundry room where I was able to iron my shirt. Bed was a comfortable king size and provided us with a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was alright - there was some confusion regarding its price (we were told €7, it later turned out to be €10) but that was later sorted at check out. There was a good lot of homemade food - always a plus in today’s standardised world of hotellerie - though its presentation and service was also a bit rustic. The staff were wonderful throughout and made us feel welcome even during our short stay. I would recommend Hotel Europa to both leisure and business travellers alike.

Man fühlt sich 100 Jahre in der Zeit zurückversetzt, ohne auf den heutigen Komfort verzichten zu müssen. Leckeres Frühstücksbüffet! Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Hotel. Wir waren in den letzten Jahren schon öfters hier und genießen es jedes Mal sehr. Der Zimmerpreis ist zwar deutlich gestiegen im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren, aber wir werden trotzdem wiederkommen :).

Stayed here twice in the last 4 weeks. The hotel is actually a mix between a motel and a hotel, which I find quite cool. It has something of an American style in Italy. You can park your car right in front of your room, as is typical for a motel. For me personally, that's nothing, because everyone can see into their room when you walk from the car park into the hotel. So I take a room on the first floor, because these rooms all look out onto the beautiful lake. They all have a nice terrace, the rooms are decorated in a kind of shabby-chic-country-style cross-over, which I personally like very much. Breakfast + restaurant I can't judge, but will probably be good. You can sleep with the windows open without any problems because it is quiet. My new favourite hotel in Varese.

Nettes kleines 3*-Sterne Hotel am Ufer des Vareser Sees. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Zwischen Hotel und See liegt nur das eigene Gartenrestaurant. Zimmer ok und sauber, Parkplätze genug vorhanden. Wenige Minuten mit dem Auto in die Stadt. Frühstück typisch italienische, viel süßes Gebäck, der übliche Toast, Käse und Salami. Restaurant war leider an diesem Abend geschlossen
