Hotel Metropole Venezia

Hotel in a good location. Clean room, beautiful place.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel. When you arrive you are getting such a warmly welcome. The room was really nice - especially that Venice oriental style. Just the bath, as some already mentioned, does not fit to the room. It is clean and is equipped with everything what you need/expect. Just different from the style. And one more little highlight are the big air con devices in front of the window which a super loud. The rest was really perfect. Breakfast buffet included everything what you need. Just only the powder coffee you can get for the price - rest you need to order separately which is different to other 5 stars Hotel where I have been before. At least one „good“ coffee should be included in the high price. Overall really a nice stay with a SUPER friendly helpful staff. And the location is really perfect as you are close to the top sightseeing locations.

Отель 4 звезды! Что даже написано на фасаде. Завтрак в отеле стоимостью более 600 $ в сутки просто что-то неописуемое… 2 вида пикетированного сока. Скрэмбл, яблоки, груши, виноград, 2 вида ветчины и 2 вида сыра. Один вид хлеба, помидоры. На этом шведский стол заканчивается ) сам отель очень старый и не уютный. За 2 дня в спа так и не смогли попасть. Здесь оно тоже за отдельную плату. Посещения бани и бассейна на час стоит 200 евро.

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to our Venice Simplon-Orient-Express trip. Our luxurious adventure in the lagoon-side paradise of Venice began with a private speedboat ride from the airport to Hotel Metropole. Located in the heart of Venice, overlooking the lagoon and  just a few minutes walk away from Piazza San Marco, Metropole was enchanting with its dark/velvety interior & Oriental theme artefacts. Welcome at Metropole was first class. We were greeted with chocolates, a bottle of champagne & a complimentary private Spa session by Railbookers in the room. Our room was very spacious and had side views of the canal. Decorated really nice with original period furnitures, fabrics and velvets that reflect the tradition of Venice. The hall way is decorated with Oriental style fans and antique collections. The room was serviced everyday. However, didn't have tea/ coffee making facilities but there was a table outside the room where guests can make hot drinks. Loved the burgundy staircase and the Pink breakfast room. Breakfast was really good with hot and cold options & friendly service. We didn't have any other meals at the hotel as we were out the whole day and ended up having dinner before coming back to the hotel every night. We had  drinks at the Oriental Bar one night. Very cosy atmosphere, but price wise on the high end. The Spa slots need to be booked in advance. The Spa is located near the Venetian courtyard. During the warmer months this space is used for breakfast. The whole beautiful spa was for our private use for 90minutes. There were facilities to make hot drinks as well as water & cool drinks. We spent some time in the Hamam  sauna before using the heated pool. The water jets were fabulous and very strong too. There was an ice waterfall where the guests can use the ice to cool them down when they are in the Hamam. I've never seen a spa are as beautiful as this before! It was the best 90 minutes ever. It was decorated beautifully with fire place as well. The lovely lady who manages the Spa is so kind and helpful.  If the guests are interested in having a any Spa treatments, then they should check and book at the reception.  Thank you so much      for this beautiful experience We had a fantastic time at in the Spa and at the hotel itself!

Wonderful hotel and location with excellent service. Originally an orphanage and home to Vivaldi where he taught music to the children there; now a delightful hotel in a prime waterfront location, 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. Beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and pillows, adjustable aircon and pristne bathroom with powerful shower. Excellent breakfast buffet with wide choice of fresh fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, hot dishes and homemade breads and pastries etc. Staff were first class and could not have been more charming and helpful - highly recommended for your stay in Venice

Bad reception service. Was asking where is the toilet and the reception did not answer the question. Instead he asked where did you learn to ask that question and chased us out of the hotel. Absolutely rude. Not recommended. I would still understand if he answered nicely that there was no toilet or the toilet is only for the hotel guess. But no! He decided to be rude and judgemental.
