The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was clean. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station, offering a quiet yet convenient location. However, getting to other major attractions in Venice takes a bit of time.

Fantastic hotel in a convenient location near the train station. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a fantastic canal view. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was €11 and had a great selection, it was nice to be able to sit outside to eat it. Would highly recommend!

This hotel is in an excellent location! There's a water bus stop right outside, making it super convenient to get to the train station – only about a 10-minute ride. The hotel provides complimentary drinking water, a kettle, tea bags, and other amenities. The breakfast was really good, especially the cappuccino; it was even better than what you get at many coffee shops. They had hot food, as well as vegetables and fruits. A big thank you to the front desk for the complimentary room upgrade!

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, about a 10-15 minute walk away. There's a water bus stop right outside the hotel, which was super handy after buying a €25 day pass. The hotel itself is quite nice, they provide disposable slippers, and the breakfast was good too.

Great staff, wonderful bathroom and good location in an interesting part of Venice, not far from the “must-see” old Jewish Ghetto. But breakfast was a little disappointing (poor quality - yogurt with industrial starch/over-cooked eggs, sugar-packed juice) and wi-fi was patchy (at least in my room).

The hotel staff were very accommodating, and it's conveniently located close to the ferry terminal. The breakfast was quite delicious, and I loved the colorful lights in the bathroom – a really cute touch!

Our ground-floor room was quite noisy. Also, they only provided one bottle of water per day. Lastly, the room didn't look like the pictures.

This hotel is too far from the beautiful Doge's Palace area; it takes at least half an hour to get there from the hotel, which is quite a walk. It's impossible to go from one end of the seaside to the other and come back to rest in between during the day. Taking a water bus costs upwards of 9.5 euros, which isn't worth it. I suspect the hotel management is boosting their ratings on Ctrip because the rooms assigned to our group of Chinese guests were either tucked away in the back, next to the linen storage room, or on the first floor. In any case, we couldn't get a peaceful night's sleep, and the noise started promptly at 6 AM. The shower head was broken, so only the overhead shower worked, and the room had a somewhat dark ambiance. Breakfast was decent, though.

A truly excellent hotel! The air-conditioned room was at a comfortable temperature, and the duvet was just the right thickness, ensuring a great night's sleep every single day. On our last morning, when our booked speed boat didn't show up at 6 AM, Mark at the front desk was incredibly proactive. He understood our urgency, helped us find another boat, and made sure we got to the airport on time! We're so grateful to him~

Flawless stay! We had a scare when we went to check-in because they couldn't find our reservation, but it was just a system error and everything worked out fine. The hotel view is beautiful and there was even a vaporetto stop right in front. The rooms were super spacious and the breakfast was divine! I was a little worried because hotels in Venice tend to be older, but this one was truly spectacular. Highly recommend!

We had an enjoyable stay, it’s near a waterbus station so it’s easy to get to the train terminal. A lot of food places nearby

I had a very pleasant stay at the Carnival Palace Hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and enjoyable. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences. I’d also like to highlight the restaurant staff, who were attentive and provided great service throughout. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
