It was a nice experience overall. There is a €3.60 city tax per person per night that's added on and can only be paid in cash which was inconvenient. There is tea/coffee provided in the room, however, they also charge to refill them if you use any. Breakfast is an extra €5 per person and breakfast lasts less than 3 hours (7am-9:45am) which is a bit inconvenient if you want to sleep in or if you have to get up early. The desk staff is moderately friendly. When we first arrived they weren't too friendly but the evening and check out attendants were nicer. The room is pretty small and really only enough room to eat around the perimeter of the bed. The bathroom is decently sized, however, the shower didn't have a door so water pools out onto the floor unless you huddle close to the shower head and even then... The TV is very small and not easily seen if you are vision impaired. My biggest complaint, however, is how hard the bed was. There's little to no cushion on the mattress. I woke up both mornings I was there and had back and hip pain (I'm 28 yrs old in relatively good physical condition). It is close to sleeping on the floor. There was a closet with a nice amount of space to put our things. There is also am elevator to access the floors which was convenient on days that we walked a ton. The lobby is nice and clean and has some seating areas. We did not explore the bar or breakfast areas. The hotel itself is located near the water bus station for easy access to Venice. It is also on a strip of shops and restaurants. Granted most things on the island of Lido do close early and a lot of them are temporarily closed but still marked as open on Google maps. Plan accordingly and call places ahead of time. I've included pictures of the bathroom which was overall nice, however, I didn't take pictures of the bedroom as it was small and hard to get a good angle.

Great hotel! They have managed to keep the old charm of the building yet providing very comfortable lodging. Staff were very personable and helpful. Florida, Nicolo, Stefania and Marta at Reception were great! Our waiter Cristian, in the restaurant was was very professional and very nice to converse with. He really knows what he is doing! The location is perfect! Only a very short walk from the boats and other restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again! Larry R Miller, USA

Old glory this hotel is. Even though we asked for a room with a separate bedroom, we got a room where the bedroom was a bit divided but not closed. The airco is positioned under the window but sinds a thick curtain closes over it, it only can cool the room a bit. Because of the heat, we slept with the curtains open but a soon as the sun comes up, you have another problem. The shower temperature is not stable and won’t provide warm water for long. Plus the shower is in the bathtub. As parents with a young child, it’s ideal to have a bath but if I didn’t have a kid I would hate it. The room was located on the second floor but no elevator. In the other building with smaller rooms they did have an elevator. Breakfast was plenty, not all fresh but good enough. The restaurant (for diner) was a bit of a let down and expensive. Although the scenery is beautiful. The staff was really friendly and they offered a free boat ride to murano. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the boat ferries and main street of Lido. There is a bus but it was a mystery when the bus will go.

Premesso che torneremo prestissimo in questo ”piccolo” paradiso, torneremo sicuramente perché chi incarna l'Ospitalità, la Gentilezza, la Professionalità, la Squisitezza, è il Signor Eugenio che, definire Receptionist - Concierge, risulterebbe riduttivo per Lui. Un Grande Professionista, persona molto Umana, Professionista che onora il Suo lavoro trasmettendo una gran carica positiva e fa grande l'Hotel PANORAMA, appunto con la voglia di tornare subito. Servizio top. Struttura molto pulita, accogliente in ogni sua parte, impagabile avere la possibilità dalla camera di ammirare Venezia e tutta la sua laguna. We stayed at this hotel on the island of Lido while traveling in Venice. The facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly. I was worried about the accessibility because it is not on the main island, but it was not a problem at all. You can take the water bus from the main island in 20 minutes and there are frequent buses, so it is very accessible. Breakfast is served on the ground floor, including bread and cheese and sausage, and there is an Italian restaurant where you can eat. I was very pleased with the overall experience.

The worst hotel I have ever been to. I came here with my family to celebrate my 18th birthday. I arrived the day before my birthday, shortly after checking in I attempted to connect to their wifi since I needed to RESVP to confirm I will be attending my high school graduation before the deadline which was the next day… this is when I noticed the wifi dose not work. I brought this to the attention of the front desk lady at 11am she said around it will be on by 3pm at the latest.. 3pm comes and still no wifi. I tell the lady I would like a refund now and will change hotels and she assures me it will be on by tomorrow morning (the deadline for my graduation and my 18th birthday) and states that the entire island had no wifi at the moment (which I later found out was a complete lie). She says she will be the one working tomorrow and if the wifi is not on by then she will refund my family for the full 3 nights we have booked… The next day arrives (my 18th birthday) and still no wifi, I am unable to see birthday wishes from friends and family and now will not be able to attend my high school graduation since I didn’t have access to wifi to RESVP by the deadline. I go to the front desk to see the lady is infact not working and she had lied, instead there is a man working. I explain the situation to him and what the previous receptionist had said… he refuses to do anything and is overall very rude. Finally he tells us we can have a refund and the only way for a refund is through the website so we agree to this and check out of our three night stay after the first night, to a different, cleaner and waterfront hotel which was extremely accommodating. Our new hotel actually informed me that they have had no issues with wifi when Albergó hotel said the entire island was having wifi issues… which is when I then realized I had been being lied to. Also in another review the hotels response is that the wifi came back on the day we left… this is not true we had booked 2 rooms with them and only canceled one for the better hotel we switched to, so our other family members were still at the Albergo hotel. Our family members who were still there informed us they didn’t have wifi the entire 3 day duration of their stay. It is extremely unfortunate the lack of respect and honesty the workers at Albergó have for their guests, it was a really sad birthday finding out I cannot attend my high school graduation, on a day that was meant to be so special. Once we arrived home from our vacation we tried to set up the refund both workers guaranteed us.. it’s has been almost a year and we have reached out many times for a refund yet we have received nothing despite their promises. Do not advertise you have wifi if you do not, and if there is an issue with a feature you claim to have it is your duty to accommodate the customer. The hotel was also underwhelming and dusty, I could go on but this review is about their lack of costumer service and straight out lies.

Se venite a Venezia per il festival del cinema non potete trovare di meglio. Se venite per visitare la città dovete mettere in conto il vaporetto per ogni spostamento perché il Lido è un po' isolato. L'albergo non è modernissimo ma è un 4 stelle accettabile. Vale il prezzo che costa e ci tornerei

The hotel is located within short walking distance from fine dining, grocery market and the Vaporetto. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and idyllic. If visiting in the high season, leave the crowds and noise back at San Marco. Lido is the place for quiet and relaxation. The front desk staff and management could not have been more pleasant and accommodating: Christina was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean and secure; and daily housekeeping was 'Five Star'. I can't stop telling people how comfortable the mattress was. I want one for my own home but am finding that, made in Italy, --obtaining one is as yet, just not possible. I'll be returning to Hotel Biasutti again and again.
