I would definitely recommend this ho(s)tel to young people. All the team was kind and helpful, although a very few of them spoke italian. The location is amazing, San Marco and its beautiful surroundings easy to reach by vaporetto number 2 - by the way.. if you are planning to spend at least 2-3 days it‘s worth buying a Venice card. Our bedroom was absolutely clean and the mattress comfortable. Still I would have appreciated one more towel pro person… by the high rate we paid.

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to cruise. Desk and concierge service were excellent. The room was beautiful, spacious and well maintained. Location is perfect, just 1-2 blocks from St Mark’s Square yet in a quiet canal side location. Daily breakfast buffet was very good.

The hotel is perfectly placed if you want the beach as it is opposite a fabulous public/free beach but with the option to purchase umbrellas, food, drinks etc if you want. You have a view of the beach/sea at breakfast. Also the roof terrace has sea views one way and sunset views the other which is fab! Claudio who serves at the roof terrace is an absolute joy. Reception is 24hours and staff were friendly and helpful. It's a 20 minute walk to the waterbus stop which takes you to Venice, Murano etc but the walk to the stop is alongside the sea or the Venice lagoon so is pretty special. We bought a weekly ticket for the waterbus to Venice etc at 65€ each which we thought worked out to be good value. There is a fabulous pool area nearby and 'pay for' beach which is pricey but we thought pretty good value at 12€ each for a sunbed without an umbrella at the pool or 48€ for two with padded sunbed, umbrella and table. There's a nice snack bar so you can stay all day. If you want the 'best of both worlds' Lido is ideal. We loved the calm after a busy morning exploring and sightseeing and an afternoon on the beach or by the pool was perfect for us. At first I was disappointed there were shutters at the windows and no view but it got very hot so I was glad of the air con and shutters on returning from sightseeing. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. If you want sea views pay the extra. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with lots of choice. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Tips: sit on a bench and watch the sun set over Venice/Venice lagoon. Visit Claudio on the roof terrace and enjoy a drink (and snacks) with a view.

Amazing location, central to all tourist sites and superb shopping all around, unbeatable in all ways. Rooms newly renovated so excellent in room facilities. Pricing was also very reasonable for location. Right beside some of the best views and regardless the room, I’m sure you’ll accept this is the best value hotel in the area. Only disappoin**ent was the bar. Ordered a drink for my wife and I, was charged triple what other exceptional bars outside would charge, the drink looked and tasted like to was made by a child. Quite disappointed with this. Also one needs to really be patient with staff, they seem to be more caught up with talking amongst themselves and their reaction to other guests reflect poor training. Rolling of eyes and other expressions are quite unprofessional. But they don’t ruin the stay, the can’t with such a beautiful location! Bell Boys very helpful and hardworking, maybe the rest of the team should learn from their colleagues. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel anytime to anyone!

Consigliato vivamente, Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo e siamo stati benissimo, a due passi dal canal grande a 20 minuti a piedi da piazza san marco . Vicinissima alla stazione e dal punto di di partenza degli autobus per l'aeroporto, le stanze molto pulite il personale attento e gentile e premuroso, la colazione abbondante e variegata.

Premesso che torneremo prestissimo in questo ”piccolo” paradiso, torneremo sicuramente perché chi incarna l'Ospitalità, la Gentilezza, la Professionalità, la Squisitezza, è il Signor Eugenio che, definire Receptionist - Concierge, risulterebbe riduttivo per Lui. Un Grande Professionista, persona molto Umana, Professionista che onora il Suo lavoro trasmettendo una gran carica positiva e fa grande l'Hotel PANORAMA, appunto con la voglia di tornare subito. Servizio top. Struttura molto pulita, accogliente in ogni sua parte, impagabile avere la possibilità dalla camera di ammirare Venezia e tutta la sua laguna. The location is super conveninet as it is just near to the main train station. You dont have to drag your luggage or use the water taxi to check in your hotel. Downside is the 1st room was assigned to us is so smelly untill we couldnt take it and call to change another room instead. Luckily the customer officer on duty, he came to our room and take a look and agreed to change us to another room which was actually at the other building. We really appreciate that and he did apologized for what we encounter and give us a complimentary 2 glasses of wine. yet, so much time wasted on check in and check out process, and the hotel has got so much stair, even it bring you to the exact floor but there is still up and down stairs which you have to suffer to carry your heavy luggage in order to check in to your room. I guess thats how most of the European hotel being structured and designed but its so much hassle if u have a heavy luggage to travel around Europe. The 2nd room is bigger yet hot water dint work properly for the 1st night, i was shower in shirvering, and thats probably how i catch my flu! The kettle in the room after we boiled the water, there is a layer of Wax appear on the water surface, which I dont know why and it looks dirty to me.. hence I have asked to change the kettle too, and luckily they bring us a new one which fix the issue. Overall, if you are only loooking for the convenient and doesnt mind so much on the size of the room and comfortability, you can still go ahead with this hotel.

New and clean hotel. Front desk very slow and bit robotic. Assigned wrong room and told given that Trip.com did not pass them the message. They were obviously lying as they said could read the first message regarding a bright room and yet both requests were written in the same field. Not flexible with check in and check out times. Its near the station but otherwise nothing in the immediate vicinity.

This hotel was absolutely stunning in every way. The rooms have a moorish theme that feels a bit outdated, but it’s spacious and comfortable. Roberta, the duty manager was an amazing human. She showed us all the places we needed to see in Venice and mapped it out for us. All the staff went above and beyond (minus the fact that my sunglasses went missing from my room unexplained, that was disappointing). We arrived a day after the Venice Film Festival has finished so it was very quiet. We had the beach to ourselves, the sea was clean and amazingly refreshing with gorgeous sunrise views. The Blue Bar had food available all day and their Tiramisu was to die for. The pool area was clean and nice but it closed early (at 6pm I believe). The breakfast buffet was divine and the hotel was grand and beautiful. Note that the hotel offers complimentary shuttles to Venice and from Venice, however not if you have luggage. Only if you’re doing a day trip to the city. If you are taking luggage to head to the train station or airport, you need to book a private water taxi (approx €90). Worth it though…only about 20 mins to the train station and the hotel will arrange it for you. You can also take public ferries but they are slower and packed with people.
