From outside nothing ostentatious in this discrete small hotel in an old building of Verone. You would never guess such a charming place and warm welcome. The hotel has a very traditional charm and decoration with hundreds of paintings, plates and other stuff hanging from the wall. The breakfast room is just outstanding and at the mid floor of the hotel you find a wonderful small winter garden full with plants and flowers in which there is a cage with two budgies called “Roméo and Juliet”. We fell in love with Roméo who was constantly whistling at us to call us or to answer to our own whistling. Wonderfully located in the centre of Verone, you can walk easily to every point of touristic interest. As every coin has two sides, it is not very easy to reach the hotel by car as “waze” is not very familiar with the pedestrian area. Fortunately, when we were completely lost, we called the hotel and a valet walked to us and drove us to the hotel; what a nice attention! The bedroom is incredibly charming and comfortable with its subdued light to avoid the big external temperature. You can even completely stop the air-conditioning if you don’t like. Last but not least, the hotel staff is very kind and attentive to your smallest wish. A little bit expensive but a weekend at the Gabbia d’Oro is really a fantastic experience that is worth the price

Nice place. I met a receptionist called Erika and OMG, such a great person she is. Her personality is exceptional. She helped me with the check-in and even when I didn’t know how the lights worked, she walked me through it. Also the good part, she helped me sooo much in pulling off a birthday surprise for my fiancé. She was very friendly and welcoming to both of us. Also, for an Italian to also speak such good english made communication soo much easier. I will definitely come back to this Hotel and please I need Erika at the reception 😌 Last but not least I am traveller and she’s the best receptionist I’ve met in my entire life of travelling and lodging in Hotels. The Hotel is beautiful with marble floors in the lobby, a nice personal bar and outstanding breakfast area. The parking is private and a gate prevents other non-hotel guest vehicles from entering. We enjoyed a sitting room, bath and sleeping area as part of our room. The accoutrements were excellent. We notified the desk of a small leak in the shower which they were repairing as we left. Breakfast was well prepared with a wide variety of items from which to choose. I especially liked the eggs, bacon and pastries. The wait staff was quick to our table and brought the morning coffee to help start the day. It was piping hot. All in all, it is a very nice place to stay and good value for the money.

We had the extreme pleasure of staying at the Hotel Giberti as our hotel of choice for the Verona opera. Having been touring Italy with a large classic Rolls Royce, we needed a hotel with parking. Antonella could not have been more accommodating understanding the restrictions that come with a long bodied 1931 car and my concerns it might not make the garage ramp turns. So presto she arranged for a parking spot in the employee lot where the car was greeted with all the care and attention we were given as guests on check in. The hotel is perfectly located for the gated historic centre within minutes to the arena on foot. Our double room was spotless, delightfully decorated with wallpaper in homage to the nearby arena arches, and a welcome powerful hot shower awaited us. On departure staff gathered to say goodbye and received our heartfelt thanks. We took a photo to record the visit in fact. I highly recommend the Hotel Giberti for the charm and friendliness of the staff, the excellent location and the memorable gelato nearby at La Romana!

因到達維羅納當天已經夜裡十點多，臨時定了這個距離火車站最近的酒店，單人間位於走廊盡頭，窗戶外用塑料遮光布遮擋着，時不時能聽到外麪的聲響，當時感覺有點不安全的樣子。設施很新，尤其洗手間異常乾淨。房間裏有小冰箱提供兩瓶免費水。最滿意的是酒店的自助早餐和位置。酒店大堂經理一位女士非常熱情主動，幫我定了歌劇票，還主動說在我離開前可以為我寄存行李。

I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review for the hotel in question and in particular for the front manager Cristina Bianconi. I booked a room for my holidays with breakfast included and the flexibility to change the date in case of unforeseen events (cancellation was not included). Unfortunately, my flight was changed and as soon as I found out, I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was possible to change the date by just one day (stay on Wednesday instead of Thursday). Unfortunately, the front manager refused to make any changes to my reservation, except by paying an additional 100 euros, despite the availability for a date change being assured on the website. Additionally, there was a double room available at the same price on the Booking site. Her lack of willingness to help and the lack of effort in finding a suitable solution caused me not only great disappointment and inconvenience but also many problems. I was very disappointed by the unprofessional and unwelcoming behaviour of the front manager Cristina and the negative and uncooperative approach of the hotel as a whole. I was also unable to speak with anyone else despite my requests. I strongly advise against booking at this hotel for anyone looking for quality customer service and professional reservation management.

This is just a review to say thank you so so much to the lovely man who was on reception duty on the night of the Mon 11th. We had an awful experiance with the buses, and he helped us get home, and called us a taxi. So incredibly grateful, and he didn’t even think twice. We didn’t even stay here, but if the staff if like this man - I can only sing this hotels praises. We have just returned from our stay and unlike others found the rooms very quiet and we were never disturbed by noise on the forth floor. The rooms were spacious and perfectly clean and equipped with what you would expect. More travel lodge than luxury but perfectly adequate for a city stay. Everything worked, staff were friendly and bus stops minutes away. Buses to the station (11) are easily accessed (from around the corner almost opposite Lidl) from where you can catch the 199 to the airport. The 164 to Lake Garda can be caught from a stop under five minutes walk away as can the 32 or 33 into the city centre. All day travel cards are €11 and cover the entire network. Individually the airport bus is €7 (single), travel to the city €1 (single) and to the lake (return) €6. All buses can be tracked on google and the app download from codes at the stops makes buying tickets easy and you then activate them via codes once you board. You can easily walk into town via several routes which takes about 20 minutes but after a few trips in the hot sun the bus was welcoming. Breakfast was international buffet style and fresh and well topped up no matter what time you visit.

Da migliorare forse qualche dettaglio in più : come set di più cose da bagno, pantofole, inoltre TV si blocca ogni tanto ( bisogna inserire una specie di pin per sbloccarla anche se non ho avuto tempo di guardarla).

For a three star hotel this is a gem! The room and bathroom were comfortable, clean and had great views towards the Arena corner of Piazza Bra. I was glad I upgraded to a deluxe double as the bedroom itself is quite small (but still had decent wardrobe space etc). Breakfast buffet was very decent indeed. Staff friendly and helpful. And the central location you’d be hard pressed to beat!

Muy sucio. Lo único bueno el colchón, el aire acondicionado y la ubicación. Por lo demás, si mi única posibilidad de ir a Verona fuese alojándome en este hotel, optaría por no ir. No puedes estar a gusto sabiendo la suciedad que te rodea: paredes, baño, cabecero donde apoya la almohada…asqueroso. Zonas compartidas (cocina y terraza) igual, no usables. Además necesitábamos late checkout en plena ola de calor, sabiendo que el siguiente huésped no entra hasta las 15:00, que no necesitan tiempo para limpiar (ya que no lo hacen) y que era martes (no sé si llegarán muchos turistas en martes en vez de en fin de semana), no se nos dio respuesta, desde las 10:30am hasta las 16:00 en la calle a casi 40 grados sin que ni siquiera nos diera la opción de pagar un suplemento.

For a three star hotel this is a gem! The room and bathroom were comfortable, clean and had great views towards the Arena corner of Piazza Bra. I was glad I upgraded to a deluxe double as the bedroom itself is quite small (but still had decent wardrobe space etc). Breakfast buffet was very decent indeed. Staff friendly and helpful. And the central location you’d be hard pressed to beat!

This hotel is beautiful but has more style than comfort. Had to lug our suitcases up three flights of stairs - no elevator (I know, old buildings...). The bed was the hardest we'd ever slept on, with crappy pillows. No shelf in the shower - awkward. And no a/c, so we had to leave the windows open at night - and between church bells and boats going by, it gets noisy early (again, yes, old building, but it's not a cheap room). On the plus side, the staff were fantastic, the location is great, and the breakfast spread was good.

This hotel is so special and service is outstanding. I wish I could give it more stars! My children took me on a tour of Italy for my 70th Birthday and this hotel was the absolute highlight out of all the ones we stayed in. It is centrally located with every amenity you could wish for. Our room had a terrace overlooking the street yet was lovely and peaceful . The free mini bar and snacks is a nice touch too. The icing on the cake is the private access to the Courtyard of an evening where we enjoyed the ambiance of the Romeo & Juliet balcony. It did feel like it was our home, albeit for a brief while. All the staff are friendly and helpful, from the start to finish of our stay. Verona itself is lovely, so easy to walk around and enjoy all the City has to offer. There are plenty of good eating spots nearby. We are planning our return ...

Hotel carino lungo la statale che porta al centro di Verona, in soli 5 minuti di auto. Dotato di parcheggio interno gratuito, la nostra camera era abbastanza spaziosa, pulita, tv con sky, letto comodo ma dovrebbero cambiare i cuscini, alti e duri, scomodi per dormire. Colazione buona, con prodotti molto buoni e servita seguendo le norme anti Covid. Avrei gradito che la camomilla chiesta la sera (in mezza teiera) fosse stata offerta come spesso ci è accaduto in altri hotel, ma ci è stata messa in conto, 2€. Detto ciò, dicessi tornare a Verona tornerei qui. Probabilmente prezzo della camera un po' altino ma molto più basso della media degli hotel di Verona

Hotel is located close to center of Verona. There is a nice walk to the Arena di Verona. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good, also receptionists were nice. Bed matres was a bit too hard. We found road network in Verona quite complicated, so be patient, if you are coming with a car.

A great site to access Verona with a bus stop directly outside the site costing just over 2 euros return for a 30 minute each way trip so very cheap. Buses every 30 minutes and it was the service 41. Check in sraff very helpful and friendly and on hand to answer any queries. The site was modern and clean with lovely shower blocks and plenty adequate toilets and showers operated with your pass. Each guest is given their own wifi code so it was efficient. There is a swimming pool twenty minutes walk away or you can drive to it also. You could choose your own camping spot and was plenty of room. The only down side was they allowed guests to check in very late and putting tents up at half ten at night is riduculous with slamming car doors and hammering tent pegs into the ground. They should not allow this to happen.
