My wife and I had a great 3 might stay at the Bedarra Beach Inn. Although the red flag on their beach in front of the resort was up until out last day there, the water was very calm on the day we were leaving. All the staff were friendly and helpful, addressing any quetions that came up. We had a car for the first few days, but did not for the last day. In addition to the excellent menu which offered daily specials, there are other restaurants within easy walking distance. A nice place to stay, which we recommend.

Called in my reservation by phone and received confirmation by Sera. Arrived at Crows Nest around 3pm and was warmly greeted by Asinate and quickly checked into my villa. Everything went smoothly. The villa itself is old and dated but clean. I've stayed at Crows Nest several times before and sometimes it can be busy with families and kids or with large youth groups or sports teams but this time it was fairly empty and quiet which was nice. This place holds a lot of memories for my family as well when we used to stay there some 40 years ago. It's location on the coral coast is ideal but the beach isn't an ideal swimming beach. It might be good for snorkeling but not for swimming. There are alot of sharp coral and broken glass on the beach. In addition there are alot of snake like looking creatures in the water. They're harmless but if you have kids it might freak them out a bit :) The pool looked clean although we didn't go swimming in it because it was raining and a little cold. The restaurant is okay. Ate there two nights in a row and ordered the same dish because I loved it the first night but on the second night it was not very good. So the restaurant is a hit or miss for me. The free breakfast consisted of two different cereals, milk, cakes, toast, jam, butter, watermelon, papaya, pineapple and orange juice. Very basic but appreciated. In the past I've paid anywhere from FJ$189 to FJ$239 on this particular trip so it varies. Quiet on the high side I feel for this particular resort as compared to some of the other higher end resorts. The staff overall were nice on this particular trip. My vehicle was safe in the parking lot for the two nights and three days we were there. The villa itself has a queen bed and two single beds, bathroom, no living area but a lanai with chairs and a kitchen. There is no cooking appliance or microwave but they do have a hot water kettle and a mini fridge. The cupboards were bare. Only had a couple of mugs, no utensils, bowls or plates. Check out went smoothly. Of the few times I've stayed here I've never been able to get a late check out even with an empty resort. Check out is at 10am. This is just an FYI in case you have a late afternoon flight and was planning on a later check out. However, Asinate at the front desk was friendly and professional. I've stayed at much nicer resorts but this place just holds some memories and provides a simple and friendly atmosphere as compared to the commercial Bula type experience you'd receive at a five star resort. Overall a great family friendly place to spend the night. There is no night life in this area but if you're looking for a little peace and quiet without the commercialization feel of the larger resorts then this is the place.

First time in Fiji with my 17 year old and 9 year old . What an amazing experience and welcoming we had . The staff were so unbelievably welcoming . A huge thanks you to Arteca for our morning coffees, baby Josh for his morning , vibrant , bubbly attitude to his work and to the people - we had so much fun doing aqua aerobics every morning . Andrew for his friendly and bright nature. Moks from the bar - great cocktails and always smiling , Dee from Sundowner , so polite , happy and chatty . Mosese - sweet, happy and bubbly , RT -always checking in by the pool making sure we had everything we needed . There are so many more to mention . Your staff make the experience memorable and they should be rewarded for the hard work which appears to come naturally to them . Thank you thank you, we had the best first time ! Sonia

We stayed a week at the Warwick , we really relaxed and refuelled …..the staff we were delightful and fun …..the adult pool was clean and great to swim in … such beautiful scenery to admire with palm trees in the background Fiji is struggling since the pandemic….. food prices are very expensive ….hence that followed on price wise for meals…. We tried all the restaurants delightful staff in each The two Ronnie’s. (Eroni ) Mario wane . suli Tupou the omelette people …I can’t remember their names such delicious omelettes made with love Nina Sia at the pool grill breakfast linny house keeping ….Lavita at the restaurant…… Rosa at the front desk was amazing so helpful which we are greatful The singing and dancing fire juggling was great …. I was impressed with the football players in the garden area such good interaction with the children and parents We decided to go to St. Peter Chanel School down the road ….we actually walked and enjoyed the country side (if you have extra pens, pencils ,school books ,story books etc to take would be beneficial ) We walked again to Sunday Mass at St. Peter channel oh my the singing was amazing no instruments just voices sounded like angels from heaven The highlight was celebrating our wedding anniversary outside yum yum seafood basket…. (I think the name was) ….oh my we were treated like royalty the singing and general love Followed by a cake. Thank you for a wonderful stay

room was not ready till 4pm upon asking the front desk about it the Director of rooms threatened us that he can deny us check in. The air con in the room did not work. called 5 times for someone to come and after 1.5hrs engineering arrived. They came fixed it and left 30 min later it would stop working ,this continues to happens 2 to 3 times. it is now 10.30pm the air conditioning unit is still not working. DM decides to room move us for the night only to assure us that he will the issue fixed tomorrow or move us entirely to room category we booked. the following day the issue is not fixed it’s 3pm room is not service nor is the new room ready for the move. The new room only became ready at 5.30pm. With us checking out the next morning it is pointless to move. Engineering comes to room at 6.30pm and within and hour the air con is now fixed. No service recovery offered. refused acknowledge that they could have had engineering fix the issue during the day whilst we were away. the DOR welcome to hotel only to threaten us to deny checking in was the most unprofessional experience we have had in years of traveling. not worthy of the name shangri la. worst experience ever. stay at your own risk.

Myself and the family stayed at the Intercontinental late May 2023 and had a lovely time. The resort and grounds are in great condition and well maintained. We had a beach view room on the ground level which was wonderful as it came with a well sized outdoor patio. The beach is amazing, one of the best I have seen at Fiji, there was the option for some waves at one end of the resort while at the other end was much calmer and shallow for a long way which was great for a 5 year old to play around in. The pools were a bit cold but that was great as meant more time in the ocean. The day beds were great and could generally one someone along the beach. Food was not bad and of course the staff were amazingly friendly again.

My wife and I spent 7 amazing nights here! The resort has everything, you don’t even have to leave! You can catch a 45 minute cab ride to port denaru for some adventure experiences of course, but so much to do here. Isikeli and Jim - as well everyone else at the water sports area were awesome! The 5 hr cruise with snorkel and wave runner safaris were definitely worth it. Joey over at the fish bar is great and pours some good drinks. Missi and Adam with activities also some great people to run into for a soccer game on the beach. Marcus was the friendliest person to run into everywhere at the resort throughout the day. Simon at the front lobby will help square you away with whatever you need. We had a lagoon view bure which was a home away from not wanting to go back home. Walk right into the lagoon from the beach or sit on your balcony while reading a book. All in all could not recommend this resort more. Safest part of the trip is was having to leave.

A fine hotel… all of the basics are done well enough without being amazing. Clean rooms (ours had the outdoor toilet and shower). The setting is nice as are the grounds. The beach is ok but not ideal for swimming and the food options are limited so don’t stay too long. My biggest issues were: Staff scream at each other - from large distances - regularly. So your peace and relaxation is pierced by yelling. When it isn’t yelling it is dogs barking and fighting. Or coveting your food at meal times. The dogs are a nice touch and are mostly welcomed, but regular fighting is less than ideal.
