Ulasan Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof

This was our third stay at the Steigenberger Herrenhof.  The hotel is in a perfect location being in walking distance of all the museums, galleries and Christmas markets.  Every member if staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.  The breakfast is very good value for money and the bar area is a great place to relax.  We love this hotel.

the location is great! the food is excellent. the hotel is a maximum of 4 stars, the rooms are dirty, all the corners and by the bed are dirty, the cleaning is terrible, I had to argue and count the days with the cleaning supervisor so that the bed linen was changed once in 6 nights (they have one every three days). lamps are streaked and stained. When checking in, there was someone else's map of the city with personal notes in the room. I won't be back again.

The Sauna room is unisex… I was sacred off by a naked man there .. no feedback after complaint to the reception. No free bottle of water… Breakfast, everyday is the same, and a bit chaotic when it’s full house..

Great location beside the famous Cafe Central

The hotel is within Vienna’s old town. Surrounded by historic landmarks, as well as highly rated restaurants, cafes, and bars, and shopping malls/stores,pharmacies etc. Rooms are quite small for deluxe type and quite old for the price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was in order and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. One standout feature of this hotel was the complimentary mini bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only was it stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, but also that I had the option to customize the items according to my personal preferences. This level of flexibility and attention to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was another highlight of my stay. They were genuinely warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, especially the Austrian breakfast offered. The variety of dishes, including traditional Austrian favorites, was a treat. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

Location is good.

Excellent location within 5mins walk to Stephansplatz and St. Stephen's Cathedral, historic center of Vienna and more. Great shopping places as well!
