We have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Great location, next to the center and Belvedere. Specious and comfy room with nice view. Bathroom also with enough space. Big surprise were luxury shower gel and body lotion! Breakfast - amazing! A lot of choice, love cooking, all fresh and well presented. Also prices in the bar with good value. Very good whisky sour 👌 The most important staff - helpful, open and polite. Much recommend for next time in Wien!

After reading reviews of this hotel I was really looking forward to staying here. First impression is like an old office block but it is very trendy inside, welcome was very friendly and a very good first impression. As the location of hotel is quite a walk into town we thought we’d have dinner in hotel. We certainly wished we hadn’t. The waiter was nothing other than rude. We had curry which was bland and just warm with dried out rice. We never received our side order which we asked for twice. Despite the restaurant having only approximately 3 other tables occupied we never received any service, we went to the bar twice to ask for a drink, then ask where our side was which still never came. Waiter just on phone and seemed annoyed when we asked something. When we asked for another drink again at the bar ourselves, we asked what deserts were available to a response of ‘fridge’ and pointed across to the other side of bar. We chose the driest brownie available and wish we hadn’t. When he came with the bill, he informed us twice service not included..which I informed him, we had received near to no service and that what we did receive was awful! He laughed. We paid over €70 for 2 bland chicken curries and a few beers & a brownie. He then forgot the drink we’d ordered at the bar so when I went up he then said he had no change (probably because I’d not tipped the awful service previously). How can you not have change from a €10 note? So after waiting for a minute whilst he kept looking in the same wallet I told him to keep the €5 euro change. It left a very bad impression of the hotel on our first night in Vienna after travelling from two other cities and hotels that offered impeccable service. Such a shame when the rest of the staff seemed so customer focused. However the reason I’ve given 3 stars is the rest of the staff were lovely. Breakfast is fantastic and the gent who runs breakfast was very helpful. Room nice, a tad small, think it’s all designed to be trendy more than comfort, but no complaints apart from big, shower gels and soap, one completely empty and one with scraps of soap left. These should be changed when the room made up, especially when paying a premium for class of room. In all beautiful decor downstairs, on whole friendly staff, would I stay here again probably not.
Lindner Hotel Vienna am Belvedere

It was our pleasure to stay in this hotel. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed and all necessary accessories to ensure our comfort were available to us. Breakfast extremely reach in choices. Staff appeared to be friendly, helpful and efficient. I will recommend this hotel and I would return for our next city break. Thank you.
Eurostars Embassy

March 2023 sees the completion of a mission that started in 2019/20. That mission was a trip to Vienna. Home of the ”Habsburg Dynasty”. The chosen hotel ”Eurostars Embassy”. Was it a good choice? Most definitely! and here's why. A 30 minute train ride from the airport via the S7. Alight at Wein Mitte. A brief Y.O.M.P. or the 74A and 5-10 minutes more. Will drop you directly outside of this hotel. Straight away. Fantastic transport infrastructure. It's understated exterior is easy to miss if your not paying attention. Check in was a swift process. The reception foyer was clean. The staff were very polight and a few more clicks at the check in desk then ”yes we were expecting you” ”Welcome to Vienna and the Eurostars Embassy. Your room is ready” Thank you Maia. The lift was ”cozy” the room was on the 8th Floor and to thr front of the building with curved wrap around windows. The views from the 8th floor were decent and the roof tops of Vienna were visually accessible. The room was clean yet basic, and just what you needed for a short excursion. It can get pretty noisy if you open the window as the hotel is on a main traffic route, expect to hear the odd police or ambulance siren throughout the day. After 8pm though silence. The noise is dampened if you keep the windows closed. The walk ins shower with a ”waterfall showerhead” was tiled in dark stone but considerably spacious. The room had a safe and a minibar quute nearly tucked away. Prices were not quite London extortionate buy a short 2 minute walk around the corner give you access to a 24hr spa shop so... The bed was sturdy, the pillows were simple the bedding was clean and the turndown I the morning caused no issues. Breakfast was a muted experience. The hotel team did well to keep the small dining space very clean, the coffee fresh, the cold items chilled and the hot food items warmed. It was a Limited selection for a location thar is clearly being frugal (I know what powdered egg scrambled eggs look like) the bread was fresh ish and the fruit juice deffo from a box. No hacks this time. There's a 24hf Gym directly opposite the hotel and if there were any spa facilities on site they did not make themselves very visible. The staff have a very good local knowledge and Maia was able to suggest at least 12 places to visit during the stay with directions of how to get there. As the hotel is literally 2 minutes from multiple tube stations and you have the bus stops directly outside, you will find that you can access many more locations than you think. Check out was also a swift process efficient and no issues. They asked if the room was OK and if anything was not working. The feedback was given and greatly appreciated. All in all a standard 4**** hotel experience. I would consider staying here again if I ever I returned to Vienna.
Mercure Grand Hotel Biedermeier Wien

Stayed at the family suite. It is spacious with 2 bedrooms (2single beds in each room), 1 living room, separate shower and Poo Poo area. Breakfast was fantastic with egg station. Highly recommended!
Hotel Spiess & Spiess

We had a very warm welcome by the reception staff and we were happy with how spacious, quiet, and clean the room and entire hotel is. Any time we asked for info or help, we received excellent advice. The location is wonderful and an easy commute to Stephansplatz and everywhere a tourist would like to go. We had some laundry done (for a reasonable charge), a taxi arranged to get ourselves to the train to Budapest, and absolutely BEAUTIFUL breakfast every morning (great coffee!). This is a great place to stay in Vienna. Thank you so much!
