The receptionest is friendly and i can only just remember his name is Huynh. Hopefully if have chance to go to Vung Tau again i will still choose the Petro House Hotel.

Whenever I go to Vung Tau I always stay at the Moon Thanh Vung Tau hotel, and I have been there a few times. The position is excellent being so close to the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and always willing to chat and have a laugh with me. Over time I have made a very good friend in Truc (aka Bonnie) who is now the General Manager there. We always share a coffee and photos when I visit. If you have a room overlooking the beach you can watch what's happening in the park opposite or watch the fishing fleet coming and going. I recommend getting up early, around 5.30 - 6.00 am and walking along the beach watching the women doing their exercises or the fishermen bringing in their catch and the women selling straight from the boat to your plate. All in all I highly recommend the Muong Tan hotel for your next stay in Vung Tau.

The rooms are dated, but clean and large. The location is perfect for the beach, harbour and restaurants, especially the foreign expat area bars and restaurants. The pool could do with more sun-loungers and was basic, but clean. The breakfast buffet was substantial enough and had everything that I needed really. worth the price of the room. I would stay again :)

The first time I experienced a hotel that was quite cute, it really brought me great experiences when traveling in Vung Tau, the rooms were extremely clean and beautiful and neat, the staff were extremely friendly. Friendly, delicious and delicious morning food and drinks. Location near the beach, only 300 meters walk from the beach. For seafood, you can buy it next to the hotel and it only takes 5 to 10 minutes. They prepared and presented it very deliciously. I hope to have the nearest opportunity to visit this hotel again.
