You can take a tuktuk from hotel lobby roam around to see local life . Go to kalatura rich look store or others for cheap but good quality daily wear clothes . Beach is little rough . Spending 5 nights with hotel was relaxing then we moved to bentota to enjoy the beach which is smooth Nd one of the best I have come across travelling world around . Special thank to Tusharri to ensure we had the best stay Nd the personal touch she provided and Mr Prasad Wijesyriya for maintaining the hotel so well . You can always see them around with a smile and ensuring all guests are happy checking on them . Key feature is the long swimming pool . We are staying at Taj bentota now but we found citrus much better with pool , rooms and pricing for quality .

We stayed at the Blue Water hotel for a week after travelling around Sri Lanka for a week. It is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. We were upgraded to a suite and it was absolutely stunning. The pool is huge and is cleaned everyday, there are plenty of sun beds for everyone and the towel guys will move the beds around and set them up where ever you want them. The staff are all friendly and polite but must admit there are quite a few new ones in the restaurant that are still trying to find their feet. On one occasion we ordered some drinks and they never arrived but we didn’t let it spoil our holiday. Savinda in the restaurant totally made our restaurant experience and went out of his way to look after us. We did miss him on his days off. If all staff in the restaurant could be cloned like him it would be absolutely perfect 😊 the food was varied but did get quite repetitive towards the end of the week but that’s pretty much what we expect with all inclusive holidays. Aruna from the pool bar was by far the best member of staff and made our stay unforgettable. He would bring our drinks to the sun loungers without us even having to order and kept the drinks flowing the whole holiday. We went out to a local restaurant on our last night and bumped into Aruna there and he even looked after us whilst out away from the hotel. Thank you so much for making our holiday the best it could be 🥰

Blue Beach is a MUST visit stay in Sri Lanka. My husband and I had the best time at the venue. The owner and the staff especially Chandra sir were so kind and lovely and made our stay super special. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and especially making our anniversary dinner by the beach so lovely! It was our pleasure to have stayed at the venue. The food was top quality. Stay was super, the view is just something you wouldn’t want to miss!!. Staff is super helpful and the owners are the best!! I’ve never seen any owners being so invested in providing more than Satisfactory stay for the guests. They are very hands on!! Keep up the good work.
