2 room apt is very large that 4 adults can easily have their own space. most of equipments are in there, including even dry machine and dishwasher. spacious balcony is also one of the nicest in the apt. only one thing to caution for the customer is making reservation for hot spa in advance of arrival, it is fully booked in most of evening.

This caravan park is now basically cabins with spacing in the middle for caravans. The roads are narrow which does not help those trying to get into a site with another van behind. There is limited space space for a large van. The sites are narrow and where we were, the hedge came almost out to the road, I don’t know how sites are allocated but we had our 30’ van with another 26’ van behind which the adjoining sites had nothing there. I don’t understand why the staff don’t space the caravans out more. Admittedly the amenities were very good although we don’t use them much be self contained and clean. There are 2 amenities areas with a large kitchen are adjoining one. The park had a number of workers staying there who started about 6 am. It is not a park I would recommend if you have a large van. There is another part just under Flagstaff Hill which had a lot more space, although it was next to the railway line.

We stayed in Unit 2, one of the front units. I agree with all the positive aspects of the reviews I read, that it was well maintained, clean, well furnished and felt very homey and welcoming. However the stairs that led from upstairs to downstairs had a sharp turn from bedroom to the top of the stairs while also going down a step or two and the problem was not that, it was that the handrail didn't reach all the way to the first step, it was short by quite a bit. This meant that you had to step down and turn down the stairs without a rail to hang onto - the rail didn't appear until the 3rd or so step, and I had to bend down to reach it, while descending. A small additional handrail on the stair bend would solve this problem. We also failed to pay attention to the reviews about the noise at the front of the apartments, so failed to ask for an apartment at the back. Big mistake. Double glazing would fix this problem easily. We saw the owner/manager present on the property doing some sweeping etc from time to time but they didn't care to make eye contact or say good morning on any of the occasions, so it felt quite unfriendly which was at odds with the cosiness of the apartments. I'd stay again if I could be assured of a rear apartment with safe handrails on the stairs.

We had a deluxe two bedroom unit ( room 124) and were so impressed with the space and cleanliness. Beds were comfortable, shower was great and everything was spotless. It was surprisingly quiet even though it was booked out and it was grand final weekend. Location is perfect, so close to everything you need and an easy bike ride to the beach and playground. Took advantage of the free use of Aquazone and was a great way to fill in a couple of hours when the weather was poor. Staff are very friendly, we highly recommend the Comfort Inn and look forward to staying again.

I feel very safe and welcome at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn, the restaurant is excellent, beautiful meals. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is great to allow for a walk along the beach or a swim. I look forward to next visit soon.

Parking's ok, bays are tight for 4WDs and large utes. Bonus there's a lift in foyer to 2nd floor, location of our room. Stairs for exercise. There a pool, but it's been out of service for several (Covid) years ........ and now under an elevated, fenced deck. Room good size, curtains good at keeping out the morning light, bed comfortable, multiple stains on carpet, and as is not unusual in accomodation, interior of kettle was heavily discoloured with scale. Shower outlet on side wall over a narrow bath, rather challenging! Ablutions made harder by appalling water pressure meant hot-cold-hot-cold dribble from the shower rose. Dangerous. So bad, I didn't shower the next morning. Long black hairs behind the door to the bathroom AND the toilet roll holder kept 'dropping' the toilet roll!! No breakfast; there are various places to eat close by. Hmmmm, won't recommend, an overpriced motel 'cos of what's NOT included.

Mitchell was friendly & well presented. The modern style to the Family Suites was a welcoming entrance on arrival, with such a spacious king size room. Great to have a separate room for kids. The extra large shower was divine, good pressure (best ever for a motel), plenty of supply of shampoo, body wash, soap and flannels and the towels were so fluffy. The room was immaculately clean and had all amenities as listed. Parking was available on a first in first serve basis, but one for every room. Overall, a great little gem!

Met up with friends foods lovely...but manners impeccable...lady named dawn helped choose what wine to go with my meal....new wines ..and end up buying couple bottles to take home ..came here 2 years ago didnt have same wine variety like they do now ..defiantly be coming back ...thank aswell to restaurant staff too ..but only down fall reception was rude in pleasant

This is a really good place to stay for business, couples, stayover. It has been taken up by new management which is a family unit. They have been very helpful, friendly and you don't feel like just another guest. I travel a lot and I know when owners genuinely want the best of your stay. The beds are comfy, the room is clean, the staff are great. It's an honest hotel giving honest and friendly service.
