Location is perfect when planning to visit the Washington DC highlights. Room is clean but compact, staff is okay.

This is a pretty unique hotel. The main draw is their idea of "affordable luxury". The room itself is nice. It is just a bed, a desk, and a bathroom. The bar itself is okay. I found the service to be incredibly slow and a bit lacking. This is especially true for the lobby desk. You can stand there for 5 or 10 minutes and not get acknowledged. It was such a hassle to have my luggage stores or to ask for anything because it took so long. Finally, the main thing that makes this hotel bad is the iPad. Every room is controlled by an iPad which is great, in theory. However they are clunky and slow. Mine stopped working entirely on day two and made the process of watching TV and turning on the lights difficult. Overall, this place is totally okay but I would probably not stay again.

I absolutely love staying at CitizenM. It’s always clean, quiet, warm, smells amazing and is aesthetically pleasing and fun to be in. The beds are amazing, the comforters are amazing, the huge picture windows are (you guessed it) amazing, I could go on and on about all the wonderful attributes. I will be a lifelong guest!

The citizen M, hotel in Washington DC is an excellent place to stay. It’s just a few blocks from the National mall, the US Capitol building, this air and space, museum, and lots of other sites people want to see highly recommended.

LoI’m is verry clean and aesthetic. Very small room. The only problem is pipes get noisy when you turn on a faucet.

Great hotel, especially if you’re traveling solo! The rooms are small, but for one person they were very nice and cozy. Very close to all of the main attractions of the National Mall and museums, I was able to walk to every location. Loved the overall vibe, and the rooms stayed nice and quiet at night. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

citizenM was quite a comfortable space! While the room was smaller than what I'm accustomed to (I usually have to rent family suites when I go on vacations), it was cozy and felt like the right amount of space. The breakfast bar was quite good also. The one minor complaint I'd have would be that the water pressure was a little low for my taste, but all in all it was a fantastic stay!

CitizenM is a great place to stay. It’s clean, comfortable and close to the museums. The only downfall is the lack of customer service from the check in desk and there’s only a few restaurants near by.

It was a nice hotel! If traveling solo highly recommend. 1/3 mile from the Mall and Metro stop is close by.
Friendly staff, breakfast buffet was decent.
The bathroom is small and is like what you would find in a cruise ship.
