점원들은 매우 친절했고, 호텔도 깨끗했음. 우리가 클린룸서비스와 추가적인 수건을 요청하였을 때 서비스가 빠르게 제공되었음. 호텔이 대학교 안에 위치하여 안전했고, 백악관까지는 걸어서 20분, 의회의사당까지는 걸어서 1시간 정도 걸렸음. 숙소 주변에 지하철이 있어 쉽게 이용할 수 있음. 다시올만한 호텔임.

The room service staff is helpful. Parking fee is around $50 per day!

The hotel is huge and one of the more affordable one around DC. The aircon in the room is a little noisy but the operation guy came and says that’s the way it is. I asked for kettle to boil water and it came quite quickly though. There’s a usd20 surcharge per room per night but you can offset by meals in the hotel. The front desk also provides bottled water FOC upon request. Overall an ok stay.

Imagine being rudely and unprofessionally accused of violating hotel policy when you did nothing wrong. Well this is exactly what happened to me on 2/23 at Yotel DC. Around 3pm my husband and I went downstairs to get his food delivery and decided to sit in the lobby to eat it. As we were sitting down, we were aggressively confronted by the security for allegedly smoking in the garage. As per the security we had been identified as the people in question. When I negated that we had even been in the garage or smoking, the security proceeded to rudely inform us about hotel policy and warn us not to smoke. I again informed them that I don't even smoke which was abruptly dismissed. Despite the clearly unwarranted behavior we continued to try to enjoy our stay. Now imagine returning to your room after spending hundreds on dinner only to be harassed by the same security on the same day for a noise complaint. Well you guessed it this is exactly what happened to my husband and I. While upstairs there was a heavy alarming banging on the door. Since this was around 10pm, both my husband and myself were confused who would be at the door. When I answered it was the same security from earlier again with an accusatory tone. This time she stated that she had a noise complaint. Both my husband and I were flabbergasted as we were not at all being loud since we were watching a cooking show - Beat Bobby Flay (sigh... Still don't know who won). When asked if they heard any noise, the security admitted that they actually didn't. As we were talking to the security about feeling harassed and targeted the African American Manager with short hair stormed towards us saying ”what's the problem”. We attempted to explain to her our displeasure with how we were being treated when she informed us that we were disturbing her guests implying that we were not guests. When my husband questioned her statement and noted that we also were paying guests she informed us that we were checking out and directed security to ”get them up outta here”. Despite us having a 3 night reservation apparently we were not what she considered guests and so the unprofessional manager had no problem aggressively speaking to us or proceeding to kick us out the hotel at 10pm at night. *SARCASTICALLY* AMAZING The YOTEL aka hostel masquerading as a modern hotel has hard as nails futons for beds and is a small box with no microwave. It's not at all worth the money and honestly just save yourself and book elsewhere. Now I was willing to over look it's quaint aka tiny accommodations until being accused of smoking and violating hotel policy when I don't even smoke and then harassed about making noise when I was watching tv. I've always heard that ”all skin folk ain't kinfolk” but have never experienced this until I encounter this manager. The first room had a very noisy fan. I was moved to another room which was much quieter. I noticed that there were several small issues with the room and relayed them to the front desk, where a manager (Keith) overheard me and said he would look into it. Nothing happened to correct it during the entire stay, not a note to say how or if it would be corrected. The issue was a ring of paint or epoxy in the bathtub, something that should have been cleaned up at the time of painting. The second issue was the very poor arrangement of lighting in the room. Lamps were confined to small areas, there was no overhead light and the bathroom was either overlit or underlit, while the closet area was dark unless it was daylight. Afterwards I noticed that there large holes in the sheer curtains in the room. Not tragic, but not in keeping with the tenor and tone of a Marriott Bonvoy. In the lobby there was only an ADA service elevator to go from the street to the lobby level. It was self operated, no instructions, no indication lights on either level and a bit noisy.

Everything was great, from customer service to the room itself. Only thing I would change is opening the rooftop bar, it’s still closed because of covid.

I arrived exhausted after a red-eye flight, several hours before the normal check-in time, so I thought I'd simply leave my luggage at the front desk and find a cafe to work before my conference started. To my pleasant surprise (and relief), the front desk staff let me check in early, offered a grab-and-go breakfast, and helped me print a document. Thank you! There were two or three different people who helped me during my stay, and all were very kind. My morning ended up being much more restful than I'd expected.

Had a one day night stopover to collect my documents before heading on a flight back to Europe. The bed was clean and ambience was OK as with my previous stay. The Reception was kind enough to keep my document when it was delivered by courier so I am very thankful for that. Will recommend to anyone on a budget - this place is value for money.

It was probably dirtiest hotel at which I have ever stayed. I found a metal piece of something about the size of my hand under the bed sheet. This means they didn’t change the sheets in the room before we arrived. We could see finger prints everywhere - on the mirrors, on the bed frame, the desks, the other furniture. The bathroom floor was dirty. There were drops of coffee on the wall (next to the bed)
