Hotel dengan Pengambilan dari hotel di Weil am Rhein

This hotel is in an area in a very busy shopping center. Traffic was horrific. Once there, we find out that we must park on the 6 th floor of the parking garage not attached to the hotel. Then poorly and missmarked descriptions guided us to take our luggage down to the 0 floor(but there is no 0 button on the elevator), go through the shopping mall, go outside and then enter another area and go up to another 6th floor to registration. The front desk said oh yes they knew everything was poorly marked and laid out but didn't seem to care. They said the traffic is always bad on weekends. It took over an hour to go 1 km, up to the top of the bumper to bumper cars in line parking garage, find space on crowded shopping elevator, go down to street, thru the mall and up to 6th floor registration. Lots of road construction in the area as well to compound. The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely lit.

I travel a lot and usually dont care about the exterior of the Hotels but the inside and staff is important. Worker at the desk was very polite and skilled when i checked in. When i entered the room... abt 300 Euro a night! To say its old to say nothing - like in the old good USSR times in Moscow, Sankt Petersburg, DDR side of Berlin! 40 years ago, what a nostalgic feeling, smell of old carpet, never cleaned AC. Had to open window to get fresh air insine. Paint art on the wall by Natalie Goller - Innenraum Rußland. Was für ein Zufall! For 300 Euro a night! First evening at the Restaurant i choose Wiener Schnitzel with salad and French fries 🍟. My first Wiener Schnitzel ever and never ever if this piece of smashed to 3 mm dry pork was the real Wiener Schnitzel then sorry... Only good thing was the salad. At the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Breakfast was outstanding, nothing special at the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Asked in the morning if they do laundry the answer was - no, but whae i asked again at the desk in an hotel for 300 Euro a night the lady called someone and repeated what he heard on the other side of the line - laundry is the responsibility of the guests. Means do your self At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Finally me and the lady on the desk figured out that the hotel does outsource the laundry to a third party company. Duration - few days, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Complimentary water only upon arrival, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Kettle, tea in room? Deam on! At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! What doesn't kills us makes us laughing 😆 At the hotel For 300 Euro a night!

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Stadt Lörrach war im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind recht neu und der Saunabereich ist sehr schön. Allerdings wird in diesem Hotel das Thema Service nicht gerade groß geschrieben. Unsere Zimmer wurden teilweise nur einmal während des viertägigen Aufenthaltes gereinigt. Als wir das reklamiert haben, bekamen wir vom Housekeeping die Antwort „ ich hatte Urlaub…“ Die im Hotel stationierte Bundespolizei störte uns nicht, allerdings müsste auch Sorge dafür getragen werden, dass Speisen am Frühstücksbuffet wieder aufgefüllt werden… Auch auf unsere Nachfrage hin, hieß es „Pfannkuchen und Croissants gibt es leider nicht mehr“ und das schon um 8:30 Uhr. Vielleicht wäre da ein guter Ausgleich die Sauna für Hotelgäste kostenlos zur Verfügung zu stellen, ebenso andere Kleinigkeiten, die man von 4 Sterne Häusern gewohnt ist: Badeslipper, Flasche Wasser zur Begrüßung u.ä.

Schön gelegen oberhalb Lörrachs mit Blick in die Schweiz liegt dieses familiengeführte Hotel mit nur zwölf Zimmern, von denen wir ein Studio mit Schlafcouch für drei Nächte gebucht hatten. Kostenfreie Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus machten An- und Abreise einfach. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, individuell geschnitten, mit. Balkon und modern eingerichtet. Es gab ein separates Schlafzimmer und viel Stauraum. Leider war das Bad nur mäßig sauber, neben den am Boden verbliebenen Haaren der Vormieter störte vor allem der Schimmel in den Duschfugen. Eine Zumutung auch das Schlafsofa, das jeglichen Komfort vermissen ließ. Im Zimmer war außerdem der Feuermelder abhanden gekommen. Das mitgebrachte Frühstücksbuffet entsprach nicht den Ankündigungen auf der Hotelwebsite, die Auswahl war eher nicht reichhaltig, der versprochene Lachs fehlte ganz. An zwei von drei Tagen wurden uns Frühstückseier verschiedener Zubereitung angeboten, an einem Tag gab es nur gekochte Eier. Bei höherem Gösteaufkommen wurde das Buffet nur schleppend wieder gefüllt. Alle wirkt eher lieblos, sehr viel Plastikabfall durch Portionspackungen, das geht anderswo viel nachhaltiger. Service beim Ein- und Auschecken tadellos, im Restaurant zwar freundlich, aber nicht besonders aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, dessen „kleine Macken“ sich mit wenig Aufwand beheben ließen.

Huge room, excellent service (manager personally guided us in for the last part of our drive), very nice breakfast, best location in town (restaurants and shops are steps away), secure parking in basement. Look no further when staying in Loerrach.

This is a nice little Hotel with a number of studios/appartments that are perfect for families with children. The service is great and friendly (typical for the South Baden folks) and we enjoyed our stay. The only downside is the ”tactical” location of the premise in an industry area, but strategically the location is perfect to take visits to Basel or into the Elsass or Markgraefler Land. It is an advantage to have a car, but even without car it is ok, since the tram to Riehen and Basel has a stop about 10-15 Min. walk from the Hotel. We will definitely stay there again.
