Hotel berhampiran Crocodiles of the World di West Oxfordshire District

Booked for a night away... Lovely room, spacious, tidy, clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite and chatty... The room was quiet, so quiet considering how busy it was and it's location near the road. Didn't try the restaurant so can't comment. But a lovely night was had... My only issues would be that there was no plug socket near the bed, and the door to the bathroom was a sliding door and a bit noisy during the night...

The location is great, out in the countryside. We had a complimentary upgrade to a room with a view of the golf course, which was very pleasant. We booked room only so didn't use the restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean, and well equipped with a super king sized bed and a wardrobe. The bed was comfy. We used the bar, which is laid out like a country house lounge with lots of comfortable settees and chairs. We only stayed one night enroute to the NEC in Birmingham and left early the next morning, but overall we enjoyed the hotel and will return for a longer stay in the future.

Great location, parking at rear £15 for 24hrs. Rooms are a little small but a nice en-suite bathroom, the room was all very new, could do with a few hooks to hang items off the floor. Located in a good location plenty of places to snack, coffee and 2 bars close to hotel, a few supermarkets across the road. Bus stop just outside hotel £2 all day ticket into Oxford. It took us just over half hour to walk to the natural history museum, its about 45min walk into city centre. The hop on and off tour bus stop is a 20min walk from hotel (stop no. 16)

Dalaman dan bilik yang indah sangat bagus - kecewa kerana tidak mandi tetapi sama-sama tidak memintanya. Terpaksa menaiki teksi ke Oxford yang memalukan dan apabila kami kembali bar telah ditutup lebih awal dan kami tidak diberitahu - namun mereka memberi kami sebotol wain untuk dibawa pulang ke bilik kami jadi penyambut tetamu yang sangat baik. Tidak sempat untuk menempah gim/spa (malu kerana kami terpaksa membuat tempahan awal) tetapi mempunyai penginapan yang sangat bagus.

Wow. Where to begin. We came this evening as a family of 4. We were greeted incredibly warmly, orders taken promptly, nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic waiting staff and the wonderful manager that was on this evening. 9.9.23. The service was second to none and we all felt extremely valued. Everybody enjoyed each of their meals and all were correct and beautifully presented. Genuinely our new favourite place to dine. 11/10 as 10/10 just doesn’t do it justice. We will DEFINITELY be back.

This is a perfect hotel, don't know why there are no reviews? It may be newly opened, everything is perfect, we arrived late, but the counter staff were very friendly and helpful with our luggage, there is a restaurant downstairs, hungry is not a problem! The room is very clean and new, very beautiful and comfortable, just like in the picture, I am really lucky to be able to live in this kind of hotel here! There is enough parking at the door, and it only takes 20 minutes to get to Oxford. If I have a chance in the future, I will come again! There are no comments here, I am afraid that everyone will miss such a good restaurant, so come up and write a comment!

The Bear announces that it is where history meets luxury. We saw a lot of history but little luxury! There was an event in Woodstock which meant accommodation was scarce. We were going to a funeral and desperately needed a bed in he area. We have never paid £350 for Bed and Breakfast before, plus, of course the £10 car park charge, but decided it was necessary. Our room (34) was a long way from the reception and being in our mid seventies some help negotiating the various doors and stairs with our luggage would have been helpful. The room was very very hot when we arrived but we were pleased to see the air conditioning. However, the control pad was complicated and there were no instructions. We sorted it out eventually and the temperature started to drop. We left the room for an hour and when we returned the air conditioning had reverted to some preset programme and was attempting to return the temperature to 32 deg! It was the middle of the night before it became comfortable. Fortunately we had brought a bottle of water with us, there was certainly none in the room, just an empty fridge. The fabric of the roman blinds in our room was shredded, they looked pretty historical. Cannot fault the cooked breakfast my husband had, but the fruit salad we would both normally have chosen was cut in huge unappetising chunks. I had to tell the staff that the apple juice was fizzy and fermenting and the toast was overcooked and made from such thin bread it was almost inedible. When we arrived we were pleased to see one or two spaces in the carpark but it is so narrow that it is almost impossible to get into them. Took about 20 minutes of shuffling. The receptionist had omitted to tell us there was another area along the back road. We had a drink in the bar during our evening at the hotel which was spoilt by the loud conversation from behind the bar, mainly a monologue by the barman. We wont be going back.

房間有點小但是五臟俱全，服務員態度都很好，唯一的就是沒有電梯要自己提行李到樓上。還有餐廳的食物很好吃😋
