Great facilities, clean, staff are amazing and 5* service. The views are fantastic, beautiful scenery amongst the forests and cliffs. I really liked the sauna but they should add some hooks outside to hang your towel. Other than that it was fantastic we will be back.

Nestled high up in the forest, you will find The Fernery, a beautiful lodge with all of the hotel amenities you would need, diners and breakfasts were fresh and full of flavour and the staff took care of every need even providing a delicious birthday cake.. this was our last stop on the dolphin trail and where we indulged in much needed relaxation, the mountain bikes at the lodge were high quality and made the 7km trail through the forest a wonderful experience, The Spa was just as delightful and the pamper session well worth it..

We spent one night at the Fernery as part of my 50th birthday gift (amazing friends) and WOW! We loved every part of it...the walk through the woods, the hot tubs in the prettiest spots (I wanted to take them all home with me), the jacuzzi, the sauna & the heated pool with the sound of the waterfall/river as a constant. Definitely helped me sleep well. The Ala Carte dinner was delicious (worth the spend) - ask for the menu to be emailed to you if you are not sure. Breakfast (buffet & hot to order) was part of the package, yummy & more than enough. Service was fast, super friendly & efficient (as are all the staff). We also splurged on a massage at the very pretty Day Spa. Wonderful experience with the lovely therapists. We packed in a lot in 24 hours. Highly recommend :)

Comfortable bed in large room with fabulous bath and shower room. Professional friendly staff. Good food. Chilly in winter with inadequate heating in room - if not for that would have been five star.

Clean and comfortable room. Underfloor heating in bathroom was lovely on a cold winters evening. Room service and supper was delicious in front of fireplace in room. Thank you for upgrades and renovations on property. Nice to see The Fernery wants to go forward in every way.

Our 2x nights stay at The Fenery was great - from the start to the finish! We were welcomed by Grant and he showed us everything around. Marius , the bicycle guide was also a treat - very professional and friendly! We enjoyed the jacuzzi and also the treat at the Spa - the 2 ladies are so good. We really had a ball!

From arrival to departure, it was of amazing. The staff was very professional and yet friendly, letting you feel welcome and as part of the family. We highly recommend you to visit. Some of the best views and as close as one can get to nature. Lovely hiking trails and plenty outdoor activities for the whole family. A beautiful spa with highly skilled staff. Thank you to the staff and management for making our stay most enjoyable.

The facility was fantastic. The rooms are well designed and furnished. The views across the ravine are unbelievable whether from a jacuzzi or from the bathtub. Loved it will definately be back for more.

I had a Esse facial at The Fernery Spa on Thursday which included a neck, shoulder and foot massage and all I can say is wow, what a fantastic and relaxing experience! Everybody was so friendly and welcoming and they'll definitely see me again soon!
