The Ocean Guesthouse

Stayed for 1 night for my birthday celebration. Maxine was a lovely host and made myself and my partner feel welcome from the start. We stayed in room 9, it was very cosy and the bed was lovely and comfortable. We loved the little touches within the room, especially the ‘forget me box’, anything you can think of that you may need was available in this box. Things like this certainly makes this guest house stand out to other hotels we’ve stayed in previously. Breakfast was lovely, a choice of continental and cooked breakfast was of high quality. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Stayed for 1 night. Such a quirky place,the location was perfect,so close to the harbour and beach. Our room was number 5 ,very clean with a great view looking over to the beach. The best breakfast! Thanks again Maxine ,we will definitely stay again !

Stayed for one had a fantastic time . Maxine is an amazing host . We stayed in room 8 on the top floor . Room was lovely had everything we needed . The bed was so comfortable like sleeping in a marshmallow . Breakfast was lovely and Maxine was great entertainment . The location was perfect for the shops and places to eat and the theatre parking is a bit of a nightmare but the sun was out so expected it to be busy . Maxine gives you a permit to put in your car for parking . We will definitely be staying again . If your going to weymouth I would highly recommend ocean view

Text: This was a unique hotel , very different from anywhere else I’ve ever stayed . The host Maxine is out going and very funny . She Made me fill very welcome as soon as I arrived. The hotel is full of many thinks to keep you intrigued . I stayed in room 6 which was very comfortable, it’s home from home with everything you needed including a hot water bottle. The view out of the window was over looking the harbor which was absolutely beautiful, especially to watch the sunrise. Breakfast was very impressive too, with a good choice to Cater for my needs as I am a vegan . I have only good thinks to say about this hotel apart from a very small complaint which really wasn’t nothing to do with the hotel but the neighbors next door . It looked as if they were having a gathering on there roof terrace which isn’t a problem only that it went on till long after midnight and I had a early start which kept me up longer that I would of liked . Apart from that I had a beautiful time and will most definitely return in the future with my earplugs .

The service is wonderful, lovely staff,excellent food and rooms are definitely a 10/10 because of its cleanliless and facilities. Sea views were fabulous,great shops,bars,food places and when you walk out of the hotel everything is on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend this hotel. From maggie and dave x

Really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Guesthouse. We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for Maxine who answered all our questions regarding the area. The accommodation was quirky and very clean. The bed was the best I’ve ever slept in and we appreciated the lovely bedding and great view from our room. The location was great a short walk to the beach and harbour. A comfy place to stay if you are visiting Weymouth

Great views of the sea at the front , or the harbour at the back rooms. Very friendly , good laugh .Loads of character around the place, Maxine a good laugh. Staff really nice, nice breakfast .Beds are so comfortable , lovely slept like a log. Rooms are great ,. Had a great break , thank you .

Great New Year Stay Fantastic location in Weymouth The bed was so comfy with cosi pillows and quilt. The owner is friendly quirky and very accommodating And to top it off, a great breakfast. All in all a great place to stay. We will be back 😊
