Trupial Hotel & Casino

Trupial hidden, small and friendly clean hotel with a good mix of local people from curacao and tourists. Friendly helpfull hardworking staff, room 25 was quiet and clean. Short stay of 7 nights. Great pool with poolbar. Love the garden with a lot of birds singing (mini jungle). Great guarded parking, ****** (not visited, no noise). Restaurant Rosso with friendly hardworking staff. Nearby Zuikertuintje minimall. This hotel was not my first choice, I prefer seaside hotels, but it was a pleasant stay. Dont tell about this gem to other people :) Discover for yourself

Last saturday we stayed at Trupial Inn hotel. The room was very nice and everything was almost perfect, but there was just one problem. We couldn't use the hot water. We notified the front desk about our problem and they told us that the maintenace team will handle it. The second day came by and we were told the boiler doesn't work and that was it, we weren't provided with any solutions and had to make do with what we had. Then our last day went by and we had to leave disapointed by the lack of solutions provided.

My initial booking and interactions started with Ms. Congeniality herself, the beautiful Ms. Irene. At first, I phoned her whenever my planning took place and I'm embarrassed to say that it was only months into doing so, for our group of 24 persons, it was only then I found out Ms. Irene works during 8am - 4pm, never did she once declined or failed to return a call to me with whatever information I needed assistance with and never once did she ever mention anything of this sort to me. As the time passed our flights with Suriname Airways got cancelled and we needed to rebook with Caribbean Airlines. The assistance and professionalism of the Trupial Inn staff did not stop there, although I must admit our trip did not seem as it would have been successful but with her assistance and her guidance, we were able to rebook with Caribbean Airlines, it was though she was Heaven Sent to our group. The kind courtesies did not stop there, Angelo and every person stationed at the Reception desk was equally as helpful and accommodating to us from our arrival on the Island straight down to the day we left. The premises of this hotel are well maintained, the lawn, the trees, the shrubs, the laundry room... all well maintained and kept at all times. The premises I can honestly admit are just as the pictures show them, no false advertising whatsoever. I can certainly recommend a stay here at any time to anyone. Room service every day if desired, towels, no problem just leave it on the bedroom floor and if you forgot to do so, just go to reception and they would give you clean ones. Air conditioning in room up to par. Compared to other hotels, it feels great to be able to receive what was advertised and what was paid for, a home away from home with no hassles. Great work by the Management and Staff and a wonderful thank you from the I love Travel Group.

I had to stay here to recover from an illness. The staff were super and made sure that all my meals were brought to me and that I had tea and other refreshments. The housekeeping staff made sure that all my needs were met. The linen was fresh and ironed.I found this hotel to be very comfortable. All electrical goods were modern and safe. There are plenty of lights in the room. The room itself was spacious and well laid out. The water pressure in the shower was great. There was plenty of storage space for all your belongings and somewhere to work if needed. The surrounding area is quiet and you are surrounded by a well maintained garden.

Wij hadden een drie persoons kamer bij Trupial in. Dagelijks worden de kamers schoongemaakt en van schone handdoeken voorzien. Voor de kamer heb je een gezellig zitje. Het hotel heeft een Italiaans restaurant, ****** en een zwembad met zonnebedden. Er is 24- uurs receptie service. Voor de ingang van het hotel, nabij een ruime parkeerplaats staat beveiliging. Het terrein met geschakelde huisjes/kamers is goed onderhouden. Het hotel ligt in de nabijheid van een klein winkelcentrumpje genaamd “Suikertuintje” en “ Bloempot”. Willemstad met de pontjesbrug ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten rijafstand.

De bedden zijn een drama. Zeer hard. De spiralen hoor je bij het omdraaien. En dat doe je heel vaak als je niet lekker ligt. Door de groene prachtige omgeving heel veel muggen. Wel gezellige laagbouw kamers. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Prijs-kwaliteit is goed.
