Room was a good size. Plenty of parking available. Swimming pool was nice. Nice view of the lake from the gardens. Very friendly staff. Lovely food. Pleasant gardens. The lounge was relaxing with nice sofa . Some minor issues: Lack of shower pressure ， toilet wouldn't flush properly, blood stain on the floor of the toilet, took ages to get hot water through for showering

Hotel overall was lovely, staff was lovely, rooms could do with a bit of updating and room was quiet damp of mould in certain places, sink took a little time to empty, shower was lovely, a throw away from the train station and about 15 min walk to Windermere lake

My Nan and I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were lovely and clean. My Nan and I found the bed and pillows really comfortable. Rob & Tanya are wonderful hosts. Their communication prior to and during our stay went above and beyond what I expected. We had breakfast on all 3 mornings, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Rob & Tanya also gave us some lovely recommendation for local attractions, as well as some local restaurants too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is situated 2 mins walk from the bus interchange, train station and the town centre with restaurants, bars etc, meaning we didn't have to use the car at all. Room 1 was fine apart from the toilet doing mini flushes every 7 mins, 2 lights out in the bathroom and the blind didn't block out the light from the street light outside the hotel (did mention these minor things to James) and this certainly wouldn't stop us from staying here again. The breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed this every morning. The lady who served it (sorry didn't get her name, but she is an ex-nurse) was lovely, always had a smile and nothing was too much bother. We only had one evening meal here, but this too was really good.
