地理位置很好，就在市中心，旁邊是教堂和警察局，步行幾步路是商業街和吃飯的地方。去海邊也是步行可達，酒店似乎是商務酒店，雖然房間不大，但很舒適，可在一層大廳辦公，大廳很大，同時也是意大利風格餐廳，早上很多人喝咖啡。前台很熱情，因下雨，我們借了幾次傘，最後一天還存了行李在酒店愉快的玩了一天，從伍倫貢車站過去也很方便，我們是步行去的酒店，公交也應該可達。

I must say that the pictures were somewhat different to the reality. The motel is in a great location, but it is pretty old and pretty tired. The room was reasonably clean, and the bed OK for one night. The bathroom was adequate although there is nowhere in the shower to put anything (ie no niche/ or rack/ or soap dish). The layout was a bit awkward - at the end of the main room was a small room which contained a handbasin, a bench with microwave, a frig and some hanging space. This room had a door, which opened against the hanging area and bench with frig, microwave etc. At the other end of the bench there were some drawers containing a toaster and lots of toast crumbs, and these were blocked by the bin. If you require a hairdryer, I'd suggest taking your own. There was one, but the ”safety features” rendered it basically useless. If you do decide to stay here, take care to actually book through the motel - their website is not optimised, and you will probably end up booking through some other site and paying more. Our room was at the back so we did not hear road noise although I suspect it may be quite noise if you get a front room

I was booked in for 3 nights for work. Didn’t know what to expect, but found the care around my arrival really helpful (coming on a Sunday evening - they arranged a key from a locked box so I had after-hours access). I was in room 17 - a lovely huge upstairs room really, and disappointing only in that there was no lounge to watch TV from - just two cheap metal chairs, a desk and the very comfortable bed, but as it was torrential rain for my entire stay I wasn’t wanting to go out much, and spent one entire day working from the hotel room. The internet was fast and reliable. The room was immaculate, cleanest I’ve really ever come across in a hotel, and it’s was comfortable although the furniture felt a bit like it had come from AMart. Bathroom was great. Shower water temp was unreliable and hard to get right. Little bar fridge with complementary bottled water was appreciated. Having arrived at night I had no idea what was around me, and as it was pouring rain I didn’t feel like going out for dinner, but I wasn’t confident UberEats would find me either with the reception closed. I went without dinner. I would have appreciated some recommendations in a folder in the room - like a few good places to eat would have been great. Also places like a local gym or similar. Eventually found the Builders Club and had a decent meal there on my second night - it’s a nice club and it’s nearby! And since I was working from my room one entire day, It would have been nice to have had more than a kettle. A toaster would be great. A small microwave would have been awesome. Just something to reheat the Chinese leftovers would have been nice. I’ve noticed in other reviews that breakfast was available, but there was no info about this - I would have ordered some if I’d known. God knows, on my first night I’d have eaten anything available from a vending machine if there’d been one. At the end of the day, the staff were just lovely, the place is lovely, immaculate, and the parking and location are good. All that was really missing was a small couch and some info about where to eat. I probably will book a room here for leisure at some stage. Coming in at night from the rear carpark, you could certainly hear a baby cry, muffled conversations and TV’s through the doors of the ground floor rooms when you walked down the long hallway. I was upstairs though and the only noise was people walking past out on the street late at night. Nothing anyone could help. Definitely will recommend this hotel to others, and I’ll let work know that it’s a comfortable place to be holed-up for a few days. Just a shame the weather was bad and I didn’t get to go to the beach - or even for a walk. But I’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

We stayed in ” the point” cabin where it's balcony over looks the sea ( rocks). You hear the waves all day breaking across the rock shelf especially high tide. The balcony faces north looking over the sea swimming pool. There are modern play equipment for kids 5 minute walk north on the beach. Rock pool is brilliant. Cabin modern clean comfortable. With it own electric bbq on the balcony. Staff at park obliging. Pont is expensive yet is right on the rocks, gets the sea salt air breeze,is private ,balcony protects from southerly breeze.

we enjoyed the stay. it seemed well organised. Only one thing the floor that joins all the units together is so damn noisy. we were awaken many times through the two nights by kids and others walking and running along the floors of their units. That part I could only give a 3/10 rating. We were there to enjoy a very restful time. I'm sure we affected others as we walked along our floors as well. the sound along the floors is overbearing. you don't hear anything else. It was pouring outside but it was virtually silent but the ecco along the floors was overbearing. I don't know it this will help. Also the cleaner only carried in a towel when he went into clean the unit next door. I didn't see any sprays or cleaning cloths?? in these times sanitizing when cleaning is of utmost importance. It seemed that he was just tiding up not cleaning.

This hotel was amazing. Perfect infact. Bed was super comfortable, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash was amazing I've actually bought my own set for home. Highly recommended. We would stay again forsure

I stayed for two nights and I found Pioneer Sands wonderful. The rooms were very clean and roomy. I stayed in the one bedroom apartment with balcony. Very modern looking apartments with all facilities in the room which you require for a wonderful couples or family stay. The bedding was very comfortable and the pillows were to die for. Sleeping was not a problem whatsoever. Televisions with cable were in the living area and in the main bedroom. The apartments also have an outdoor pool which was a plus. Very close to the Towradgi Beach Hotel, parks and beaches and only 5 minutes drive to Wollongong CBD. I would recommend a stay at Pioneer Sands due to the very clean apartments together with the wonderful staff who were very approachable and friendly. Thank you for my stay.

It was a nice cozy chill hotel. The carpark entrance was the down side to it, pretty weird road signs.
