Just wonderful. In kirtling for day lunch. Great food, service, decor and cocktails very good. Pub very clean with lovely vibe. Will be back for sure. All 3 meals, chicken, Suffolk pork rib-eye and Suffolk ox cheek were truly sublime. Thank you

The pub, the beer, the service and the food were really excellent. The menu was interesting and food cooked to perfection. It gave me faith in the Chesnut Group as my only experience to date had been the Globe in Wells which is not goo. Scruffy outside , tables crammed in and resembles a cafe. Also the car crash of the Lifeboat Thornham. Which quite frankly they would be better off closing a relaunching it’s so shocking This however is first class so congratulations to the team on site .

Nice little Pub, very good room, great bar and excellent staff. Busy pub near Newmarket in little village of Ditton Green. Plenty Parking spaces (which it needs on a sunny Sunday afternoon) as it gets busy . Good pub grub with decent sized rooms and a very good breakfast.

This very comfortable hotel was ideally situated for our visit to Newmarket. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive but special mention goes to the outstanding deputy manager Ali who attended to everything we asked for pleasantly and efficiently. On arrival we took the 5 mile walk which we found on the Three Blackbirds website through the local countryside which was lovely. Thursday was a Racing tour and visit to Newmarket races. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was tasty and well presented. Overall the perfect stay. I’m sure we will be back.

Lovely old pub in a pretty village. We stayed one night and were very comfortable. The bedroom was very modern and lovely bathroom. Downsides were a, it was at the back of the large carpark...OK in good wearing but not so much otherwise. b, our room was up a metal staircase...not easy with luggage. c, we found the evening meals to be a bit hit and miss. One meal was good, the fish meal had to be returned as it wasn't cooked. Breakfast was lovely.

Stayed Boxing Day and the following two days. Rooms warm and tastefully decorated. Breakfast choice was very good. Food was well cooked and plentiful. We were staying there whilst visiting our son and his family for Christmas. We also had a lunch time meal there. My wife asked for the fish to be skinned as she does not like any on her fish. They did this for her (even though the restaurant was fairly busy). My only criticism would be that you had to ask for refills for the tea tray in your room. Overall we had an excellent stay at the three blackbirds,and would certainly recommend this establishment to any other travellers.

We had an amazing stay here! It was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely, cozy at home feel with a nice pub which serves really good food & drinks. Rooms were lovely and modern, with a big comfy bed. Would recommend. We loved it here. Would be back in a heart beat!

Bedroom beautiful, however next time I'll ask for one which doesn't have a room above as it was quiet noisy (not the hotel's fault). Bar and restaurant are amazing, very welcoming and food lovely. great staff will definitely stay again.

Loved our stay in this cosy posh pub. The room was large, beautifully decorated in a modern style and all rooms were set in a block across the car park from the bar. Staff were welcoming and the food options were good. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend The Three Blackbirds.
