Our third stay at this lovely accommodation, this time with family for a major birthday celebration. Nina and Brett could not possibly have done more for us to ensure it was the most memorable of occasions. Wonderful, comfortable, and private bungalows, close to the beach and just a short drive from Woopi. The only downside to the whole thing was the oven in the cabin as we couldn't find the sweet spot for timing and overcooked our food a couple of times, but in the overall it's a minor inconvenience and we loved our stay. Thank you to Nina and Brett, and Kelvin and Colette, for all the work they put in from enquiry to departure. We can't wait to come back again.

Great cabins and very quiet. a short walk to the beautiful Safety Beach. You will most likely be the only person on the beach. Fantastic. Short drive or 3km walk to Woolgoolga for dining, surf club and shops. Cross over the little stream from the lake or go for a walk along the lake shore.

Back to the 1970’s - mostly in a good way. Basic bungalows a bit of a walk to the beach up and down hills and ramps. Clean and comfortable but limited number of power points, tiny TV, slow WiFi, and almost no hanging/storage cupboards or shelves for longer stays. Lovely helpful owners.

Little treasure of a place where you can have your four-legged BFF on holidays with you! Great week spent here, everything you need close by, dealing with the manager was easy, cabins were comfortable, clean, and had all you needed.

Have been coming here for years with my fur baby and it never fails to impress. The cottages are comfy, well appointed and have everything you need for a nice break. The beach is close and friendly for the doggos. Could not recommend highly enough. Kieran is great to deal with.

Great location. Being pet friendly was our main reason for staying. Also easy for keeping your dog safe with gates and a good area for them to wander around. We had everything we needed. Great BBQ area. We will definitely be back for another holiday. The beach was exactly what we were looking for dog friendly, and a great walk.

We totally enjoyed our 5 night stay. Our bungalow was very clean and very well equipped .while a couple of hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful it's really a small thing. Great for the dogs, beautiful quiet spot and so close to all the beaches and supermarket.

Quite and comfy bungalow. Lazy days suited our needs. The kids loved the hammock and our dog enjoyed lazying on the enclosed deck after a run on the beach, which is only 400m away. We felt lucky to be having a ocean swim in Oct. Definitely be back. Thanks Kelvin,

So peaceful and quiet. I could live here at the Mad Duck and I don't want to leave. We are so close to the beach and with the lake not running a nice walk to Woolgoolga. The cottage has everything you need . A perfect stay.
