Hotel Xi＇an dengan Gim

Location: Great - right behind Exit H Zhonglou metro station, across the road from Luomashi walking street and comfortable 10min walk to Bell Tower, Drum Tower & Muslim Quarter esp if you cut through the eateries to the right after you exit the hotel. Rooms: Lovely, spacious and comfortable. Toilet had a bidet. Huge TV but no English Channel and couldn’t cast shows from our phone. No view. We also had problems with the smell of smoke. The staff were quick to attend to it but they could only spray the room and once that dissipated the smoke smell was back. Hotel: There was a booth that offered airport transfers from the hotel for just 30yuan per person. The staff were pleasant but I think the most disappointing thing for me as a foreigner who isn’t able to speak Chinese was the lack of any English speaking staff. This to me is more of an Accor problem though. I had booked with Accor, a global brand, with expectations that there would be at least some English-speaking staff and at least one English TV channel (which our other more local hotels in Beijing had). Still overall good stay and I’d recommend it to anyone who can speak Chinese.

My wife and I decided to visit Xi'an for her birthday from November 30th to December 4th, 2023, and we chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an during that time. In short, it is an exceptional hotel, offering super delicious breakfast with a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. For examples, the gentleman in the front door of the hotel always welcomed us with very beautiful smile, the lady who took care of our room every day, displaying meticulous attention to detail that never failed to surprise us. The employees at the Italian restaurant were exceptionally kind, going above and beyond to provide extraordinary care and respect. When they discovered it was my wife's birthday, they surprised us with a small cake, decorated our table with balloons, and even offered us complimentary cocktails. Furthermore, the staff in the Lounge went out of their way to help me arrange a surprise birthday cake for my wife. They decorated the table with great care and passion, and even presented her with a thoughtful gift and a postcard, sharing their kind wishes with us. I almost forgot to mention that they also surprised me by offering a birthday cake when I was in my room. So, we ended up with three birthday cakes in one night that gave us the opportunity to share our joy and share a slice of happiness with the incredible staff. These are just some examples of their great team of their staff. Without doubt, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Xi'an.

We stayed 2 days in Eastern House upon arrival into Xi’an. Pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness, service of the hotel. Also great is the buffet breakfast spreads. Also really enjoyed the afternoon tea with fruits, cakes and flower tea. A shout out to service staff 陈丽娜 who patiently helped us book our Didi cab as we struggle with the booking. The hotel is also walking distance to south wall of the 城墙. Will recommend to visitors coming to Xi’an.

One of the best and friendliest hotels I have stayed in China. Big plus point is that most of the staff speak fluent English. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect walking distance to the major attractions and onsite tour organized is another plus feature of this hotel. Location is very quiet yet in the middle of one of the most happening places in Xian. Very clean and hygienic with good WIFI. I had an excellent stress free stay at the premises. Hotel is in a very good location, close to attractions and metro line. Take note that they do not have a front porch, so the dropoff usually directs to Shehui Road (社会路) and you have to walk through a carpark before you get to reception. There is another ibis hotel very close to this hotel - make sure you go to the correct one (even my tour guide got it wrong!) Service can be improved slightly as the reception staff often appeared bored. Housekeeping also entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was clearly displayed. Otherwise, room is clean and modern. There is a rooftop garden with perfect view of the Drum Tower.

First trip to Xi An and I am so glad that I booked Sheraton as for my stay here! The room is fully equipped with all the things that we need. Location wise, it is very convenient with an underground train station just next to it. Scenic spots are also just down the road! Will definitely recommend Sheraton to others.

Everyone was kind and very helpful. Check in went smoothly. The staff brought our luggage to your room without any problems. There was a short clothe line in the stand up shower for light laundry. We enjoyed the afternoon teas at the lobby. Breakfast had the lobby was amazing. It had a wide range of items on the menu, ranging from noodle soups to some western menu. There are two restaurants and one closes on Sunday. It is within 30mins walk to the bell town and not too far from the Xi’an City wall. If you drive there is garage underneath the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, tiny to large seatings, with either indoor or outdoor tables. We ended up with take out from a smaller restaurants on both nights we were there.

Apabila saya mendaftar masuk, saya diberitahu bahawa lantai bilik yang saya tempah pada asalnya tidak begitu baik, dan mereka menaik taraf saya kepada bilik. Ia adalah penginapan yang sempurna. Di samping kebersihan dan lokasi, saya biasanya melihat dua aspek apabila memilih hotel: kekayaan bufet sarapan pagi, dan saiz kolam renang. Seperti yang berlaku, yang ini sesuai untuk mereka semua. Pengalaman penginapan yang sangat selesa, saya akan tinggal di sini lagi pada masa akan datang.

我們第一天到西安的時候是個雨天 前台有位戴眼鏡的小帥哥主動來幫我們提行李 我們中有長者和孕婦 很照顧我們 走的時候也詢問我們是否滿意 有沒有建議可提 感覺他很和善有責任心 服務態度很好 因為他的態度讓我對西安有了很高的評價 酒店衞生和一般華住會的標準差不多 但是這家的服務態度是我在華住會住過的酒店裡面數一數二的 前廳經理及以上領導應給予這位前台服務人員表揚 這兩天住的很滿意 在此謝謝這位小哥哥了 祝你前程似錦。

Big grand hotel, just inside the walls of the great city of Xian. The location is great with so many fantastic restaurants, malls and supermarkets. Underground is 5-10 min walk, which is very convenient. Although is an old hotel, if feels luxurious and grand, with great materials (marble, flush carpets, piano bar, etc). My only complaint is that it was very hot during my week there and the aircon was very weak, couldn’t keep the room cool at all.
