Hotel di The bell tower The drum tower/The Xi’an Circumvallation, Xi'an

Pros: 1. Location is very central and you can view the Bell Tower from your room. Although some rooms may have a better view than mine. 2. Free drinking water at the lobby and every floor. 3. Laundry and dryer room is free to use but can get very busy. Staff 张福云 was very helpful, she helped manage the clothes, folding them after drying and even brought them to the room. 4. Room has direct water source (various temperature) and it is useful for cold weather. Cons: 1. No ramp to the hotel, so luggage and pram could be a problem. 2. Central location brings central problem. Taxis are unable to stop at the hotel due to the roads being fenced off. 3. Rooms with views also suffer from noise from the traffic at the roundabout, even at 3am. Seems like it is in their culture to honk even though traffic is light at 3am!! If you don't want noise, choose a room that is not facing the Bell Tower. Closing the windows and curtains helped a bit but honks are still audible and it doesn't help when there isn't air-conditioning during autumn and winter. 4. Breakfast is fairly basic and afternoon tea break has just biscuits. We skipped it totally.

小圆 was my designated contact during my stay in Xi'an She was excellent and attentive even on her day off! Went above and beyond, a credit to the staff. She even got me a little thank you gift to finish off ny first trip to Xi'an on a high Room was excellent, able to walk to Bell Tower (5 minutes), City Wall (20 minutes) and good transoort links e.g. subway/metro Tourist Bus etc as well as good shopping around the area. I made good use of the included Breakfast and afternoon tea (小圆 even ensured I could access when I had checked out for the morning due to ny tour taking me past 3pm) Room came with everything I needed for my stay, slippers robe, toiletries, plentiful bottled water and some soft drinks as well were waitinf in the fridge for me, usual hot drinks too. Will definitely consider staying again when I have the chance to revisit.

DESCRIPTION Quaint hotel which is actually in an apartment building where several floors have been converted into a hotel. Very modern and artistic deco, owner clearly put a lot of time and thought into the design. LOCATION About 1.5km from Nanmen, walking distance to certain popular food areas like Xiaonanmen and Zhongmao Plaza. Short cab ride to all the major attractions. It isnt exactly in the heart of Xi'an but still reasonably well located. ROOM We basically had a two room apartment with a loving room.and two toilets. As with the rest of the hotel, very well renovated and stylishly furnished. Great for families which need multiple rooms and a common area. The beds and pillows were the best during our trip to China, we all slept fantastically well there. AMENITIES There is a small gym but the highlight is the 'cat room' which is literally a room full of cats, kittens and feline toys. The cats were very clean and very posh looking! Kids had a blast playing with the cats. SERVICE The best part of Hesu is the staff. Whilw they dont speak much English, they were super helpful and friendly. They even have a WeChat account for guests to ping them for help. CONCLUSION Very cool hotel, highly recommended for families visiting Xi'an.

The room hygiene was excellent, and the location is super convenient with a subway station right next door, making it easy to get anywhere. The service was truly great, and the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. As expected from a Jinjiang Group hotel, it's really top-notch. My only regret was that my autumn break coincided with many others, so my overall experience in Xi'an wasn't the best. However, this hotel will definitely be my first choice for my next visit to Xi'an. Highly recommended! I usually don't write reviews, but this one deserves it.

The hotel's decor really suited my taste; it had a fantastic ambiance. The design was very stylish, with art pieces displayed in the lobby and cozy seating areas tucked away in corners. The bedside wall lamps were a thoughtful touch, providing soft, non-glaring light that was perfect for reading at night. I also want to commend the cleanliness, which is something I value most. The pillow and duvet inserts were of excellent quality, making for a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom glass was sparkling clean, and the front desk even provided considerate items like disposable toilet seat covers and steam eye masks. Overall, this place offers great value for money.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, we got ours upgraded for free, the staff even prepared some fruit for our arrival. The breakfast is amazing, delicious, and varied, ok for locals and foreigners as well. The hotel staff is also so kind, they will give you suggestions for the itinerary with transportation time included, if you need to get any tickets you can ask them and they will help you contact a travel agency to help I would DEFINITELY come back!

I didn't have high expectations, but the service really warmed my heart. It was raining a bit on check-in day, and Butler Xiao Liu quickly came over with an umbrella as I got out of the car. He even helped me with my luggage, so my clothes didn't get wet at all. During my stay, I casually mentioned to the cleaning lady that I needed a hanger, and not long after, not only did she bring one, but she brought two extra. I forgot my charger when checking out, and Xiao Liu called to remind me and even helped me send it by courier. These little details really made a difference!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, making travel quite convenient. All the staff members are incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. From the moment we checked in, they assisted us with our luggage and even offered us water. There's a Xiaonanmen morning market nearby, which is also very convenient to get to, about a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk. Plus, the hotel offers free parking. The room layout was also great, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. To elaborate on the location, the Yongningmen subway station is just a three-to-five-minute walk from the hotel entrance, making it super easy to get around. You can directly reach the Bell Tower and it's also very convenient to transfer to the Grand Tang Everbright City. I highly recommend it to everyone. What's more, the night view from the room was stunning! The staff even upgraded us to a room with a view of Yongningmen at night, which was spectacular. When we checked out, they even gave us a small gift bag with useful items like nuts and wet wipes. They also thoughtfully asked if we needed any bottled water to take with us. Overall, incredible value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The facilities were excellent, and the room offered a very generous amount of space. It was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was also quite spacious. The location is fantastic, tucked away in an alley within Huimin Street. It's incredibly convenient, with the main entrance to Huimin Street just steps away and easy to spot. The host proactively reached out before our arrival, providing crystal-clear directions. The service was truly excellent.
