Every time I go, I end up staying longer. Very nice after dark wandering the back lanes of the Island.

It’s an easy walk uphill from the ferry terminal. It has a pretty courtyard and the room had a very old colonial feel which is a nice change whilst traveling in China. Very friendly staff!

The location is very convenient, right next to Sanqiutian Wharf, within walking distance, though it involves two uphill sections; the most beautiful corner is right there. It's a century-old house, so everything is naturally old, and don't expect much in terms of ambiance or amenities. The owner upgraded our room, but the bed creaked. The WiFi was practically useless.

The owner was very accommodating and upgraded my room; it was clean and hygienic. Staying in this type of room is all about experiencing the feel of a century-old house.

I stayed at his place for three consecutive nights. The environment was nice, clean, and convenient; it was on the most beautiful corner in the area. It was a 3-minute walk and less than 10 minutes from the pier. This hotel is centrally located on Gulangyu Island. The front desk staff were excellent, attentive, and responsible; they even provided umbrellas when it rained.

The house is a building with a lot of historical charm, and the owner was very enthusiastic, upgrading our room for free. However, to be honest, the old facilities reduced the comfort of the stay. But the price is acceptable for Gulangyu Island, and it's worth staying if you're not too picky.

It was clean, and the owner even gave us makeup wipes.

The service was excellent.

The location is convenient, it just requires an uphill climb, but the distance is acceptable. The hotel is a bit old, but the price reflects the quality and is acceptable. All in all, it is a hotel worth visiting.

Staying in a celebrity's former residence on Gulangyu Island for less than 100 yuan is really cost-effective. Although the house is not new, the facilities are quite new, the hygiene is also very good, and the floor height is very high, so it feels very spacious! The attitude is also very good. Overall, it is highly recommended. Gulangyu Island is quiet at night and in the morning, which is very charming!

There is a yard, which is relatively quiet. It is still not enough to go there during the off-season.

Close to the pier, convenient for travel

Advantages: good location and cheap. It is a few minutes away from Sanqiutian Wharf, and it takes two or three minutes to walk past the most beautiful corner (uphill). Book in advance and the price is cheap. The service attitude of the B&B staff is good. There are all the necessary slippers, toothbrushes, shampoos, etc. Disadvantages: The appearance looks retro, and the equipment in the room is really old. There doesn't seem to be any obvious stains. The cabinet is old. The toilet door of the room I stayed in couldn't be closed, and the toilet cabinet door was worn out. The towels looked old and I didn't dare to use them. There were small mosquitoes in the room. Be prepared to book this hotel.

As soon as you get ashore, you will see the hotel, which has an elegant, simple, comfortable and clean environment.
