Konyak Hotel

Here’s my honest review of my experience: Location – 2/5 The hotel is quite far from the city center—about 15-20 minutes by taxi. For someone like me who loves walking around and being in the heart of the action, this wasn’t ideal. The location is in a quiet part of town, but it’s also quite hilly, making it difficult to walk to nearby places, especially in winter. Even getting to the nearest SAS supermarket was a struggle because of the incline. If I were to return to Armenia, I wouldn’t stay here again simply because of its location. I prefer being able to step out and immediately explore, grab a coffee, or experience the city’s vibe, which wasn’t possible here. First Impressions – 2.5/5 When I arrived, the hotel looked much smaller than I expected, and the lobby was quite dark—not the most welcoming first impression. I was carrying a heavy suitcase, and while there was a hotel staff member outside (possibly a concierge or security guard), he didn’t offer to help at all. Not a big deal, but it definitely didn’t feel like a four-star service. Room – 4.5/5 The best part of my stay was definitely the room. It was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was large and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find hotel robes neatly packed in plastic bags, which reassured me they were fresh and unused. The room also came with slippers, a bidet, a towel warmer, and a good-sized TV. Housekeeping was on point—they cleaned the room every day, even when I didn’t put up the “please clean my room” sign. For a three-star hotel, the room exceeded my expectations and was the only warm and cozy thing about my stay. Amenities – 3/5 • Swimming Pool: Since it was winter, the pool wasn’t in use. When I arrived, the water was green and swampy, but by the next day, they had drained it, which was definitely an improvement. • Wi-Fi: Worked fine throughout my stay. • Breakfast (3.5/5): Breakfast was on the 8th floor and had a decent selection for a three-star hotel, but definitely not four-star quality. The food was okay, but they should add labels to dishes, especially since there were Muslim guests who might need to know whether the meats were halal. Coffee was self-serve, and no one attended to guests at breakfast, which is standard for budget hotels. The view from the 8th floor was a highlight, though! You get a beautiful panoramic view of the city, and there’s a glass deck overlooking the pool. It was too cold to sit outside for long, but it was a great spot for photos. Service – 3/5 The staff were okay—not particularly warm or hospitable, but they answered my questions when needed. The receptionist spoke English, which helped. However, compared to other hotels, I wouldn’t say the service stood out. Would I Stay Here Again? No. The location is a big factor for me, and I prefer being in a more central area where I can easily explore on foot. Firstly, the staffs were not so cordial, out of all staffs we could only find one lady at the reception with a smiling face at times, even the language was a problem as they were not so much comfortable with English. Breakfast was not up to the mark with very limited options, also they didn't have tags such as how to identify whether the sausage is chicken, pork or beef unless you ask, and that was again quite uncomfortable because the breakfast staff was very rude if we ask her anything twice she was getting annoyed. They did not have any room service so whatever you ask for you need to help yourself. While room cleaning they did not change the sheets which we realized after coming back to the hotel from sightseeing. Only one thing was good for us that we had a supermarket opposite to the hotel which helped us as for water also they provided small 3 bottles a day for 3 of us and you cannot ask for more. My suggestion try for other hotels if you have an option keeping this was as the least.

Konyak hotel is a very good option for accommodation in Yerevan. It has nice, spacious rooms, swimming pool area and underground parking. While it is not right in the centre of Yerevan, the centre is still easily reachable on foot or by taxi (25-30 mins on foot or 5-10 mins by taxi). The staff were friendly and helpful with all requests. Only point for improvement was the breakfast, which I believe does not offer enough options for a 4-star hotel.

I was there in this hotel last week for 2 nights with family. Good hotel with all facilities, nice view from restaurant... breakfast was filled with many choices... house keeping needs to improve. its a good and suggestable option to stay in YEREVAN JOHNSON-DUBAI

A small but tidy, clean and beautiful hotel of great staff and great breakfast - me and my love spent the best days in this city and hotel. Excellent experience-good lighting- relaxing café and bar and good price. ＜3

Останавливались на одну ночь . Хороший отель в тихом месте не далеко от центра. Рядом рынок. Номера чистые , все принадлежности есть.Завтраки хорошие. Есть бассейн , но мы им не пользовались из-за отсутсявия времени. Стеклянный пол в ресторане на верхнем этаже. Круто!! Персонал отличный!
