Aliathon Resort

We stayed here for the second year on the run, this is the first time we have bounced back to somewhere and we didn't regret it. They have made some minor improvements from last year which made us think that they clearly listen to the customers. The kitchen staff are excellent with allergies, Elana really cares you get the food you can eat and when she wasn't there the chef came out and talk me through what was in some of the dishes. All that in the middle of an incredibly busy dinner service, it's excellent! Olga was a great host, our 8 year old loved her high fives and comments on his Minecraft clothes. The staff in general, tall Tony and the shorter Cypriot gentleman around his age were great too. Svillen and the bar team are also really good. Yanis as mentioned in every review is a host par excellence. We stayed in the fishing village this time having previously stayed in the agean. It's a bit more rustic in terms of the quality of finish, but the rooms are massive and have a full kitchen so no washing your glasses in the bathroom sink. It actually suited us better as the layout for the child going to bed and us sitting on the balcony seemed to flow better. Only downside was there were some ants if you left a glass by the sink. To be expected as the place is in the middle of an orchard. The aircon didn't seem to cut out when it got down to the right temp and there were motion sensors that meant it cut out in the night anyway. These I think are minor things though. We are likely to book the holiday village again or the Ionian swim up pools which looked great. The holiday village is excellent for kids entertainment and clubs. The app is great for telling you when everything is on, would recommend people get with the times and download it. Even as an adult I enjoyed attempting to paddle board. The high ropes became a favourite for adults and kids if we weren't in a pool mood. Main criticism of the activities is they put a kids activity and aqua aerobics in the same section of the pool, this needs to be roped off, it clearly caused issues. In short, another great stay in an excellent hotel that is in a great location, easy to get into Paphos centre on the local bus and a quick transfer from the airport.

Writing while I’m here. I have 0 negatives. We are in the fishing village part, beautiful room with lots of space, room cleaned and fresh towels daily. Lovely breakfast, if you don’t make it, don’t worry the amazing snack bar which is open 10-6 has you covered! Nuggets/pizza/chips/burgers/hot dogs/pasta and salads, wraps and so so much more! Don’t forget the incredible deserts! Lunch and evening food lovely too. Lots of lovely spacious pools, we have a 12 year old but loved that the kids pool is sloped not steps, and it’s huge and still shallow! Perfect for younger kids or non swimmers. Don’t forget the amazing splash pool with little slides and water features etc. The amazing holiday village team will have you entertained from morning till night what ever your age, they aren’t pushy. Just take a look on the app, there is soooo much to do, we loved the hv team they really made our holiday. We did high ropes most morning and archery, then paddle boards and canoe games, list goes on! Honestly can’t fault the place, will def be back, such an amazing holiday we have all had and not too far from lots that’s going on around the island. Hire a car, best thing we did! Little car was £150 for 10 nights, brilliant. Lots you can walk too and great bus routes.

What can I say. What a perfect holiday for our family. We enjoyed every single second of it. Every aspect we found to be outstanding. Food Drink Entertainment Room Cleanliness Friendliness Staff Olga who was front of house was amazing, especially with our young son Reay. He misses her still. Casey was brilliant with our boys also. Her energy in the entertainment team department was brilliant. The other main entertainment team had the best energy and kept us all entertained. We will be booking again. Perfect for a young family. We spent the day at HV Aliathon Resort visiting our lovely daughter who is part of the HV academy team. Thank you to Yiannis for a fantastic day and evening. We honestly couldn’t fault the resort… amazing pool areas, fantastic food and awesome fun evening entertainment where Grace dragged me up on stage for a challenge A massive thank you again to Yiannis and our special daughter who we miss every single minute of the day …Molly HV Fitness (I even joined her for Aqua fit) I’m back in June so can’t wait to visit again

We visited 7 years ago and loved it so returned. It absolutely top class and wonderful for families. The entertainment is second to none. Constantly something going on for the kids. Food is amazing, great quality. Staff so friendly. Fishing village apartments could do with a revamp but still fine.

My stay at the hotel was amazing. the complex is spotless, food excellent and the staff cannot do enough to make your holiday a fantastic experience from morning to night. The hotel manager Yanis is an incredible asset to this hotel, he is clearly respected by all the staff, is visible all day every day, what a gentleman. Aliathon Resort you are very lucky to have him and an amazing team who worked hard to give everyone a great holiday experience.

Just come back from a week stay with our 8 month old and 3 year old! Without a doubt the best holiday, the resort is beautiful has absolutely everything you need and more, every member of staff was amazing and went above and beyond for us! Our 3 year old loved the kids club and our 8 month old went in the crèche for a couple hours a day, he’s never been in childcare but the girls in there are top notch he loved being there and there all brilliant, I even got a book of artwork to take home that they made with him! The food was delicious, I have quite a few allergies and there was options and they made me a meal every evening, special mention to Elena in the restaurant who looked after me for every breakfast and lunch, I even got a desert a few times which with my allergies I can never usually have a dessert when I go out to eat, I was so worried about eating as going out usually is always a nightmare as they don’t have many options but it was no hassle here they made it utterly stress free! Tony in the restaurant was also fab The hotel manager was excellent always around doing stuff! Don’t think the bloke has a day off as I saw him literally everyday, he even greeted us off getting on the coach! Soula in the Mexican restaurant was amazing also she went above and beyond for our meal helping out and playing with the kids. She even helped feeding the kids so me and the other half could eat our food 😂 excellent service! Every member of staff are amazing with the kids every time they saw our little ones they were always saying hello giving high fives to Logan our 3 year old. The pools were all lush and the self service drinks were a bonus! The entertainment was good too but only watched it one evening as went out wondering most evenings. If you’re debating going here don’t just book it and I promise you won’t regret it!

Came here in June with my wedding party. From entering reception to departing reception we had the most amazing time. Upon arrival checkin was very easy and quick as we filled in online checkin before arrival, we were escorted by Rafael in his buggy to our room. Biggest shout out is too Yanni, fantastic guy who knows literally everything, can not help you enough….. even to the point he was going to drive me to my wedding as my car was late collecting me. Thank you so much Yanni your an absolute credit to the hotel. The food was really tasty and lots of variety Tony was a lovely guy, never once waited to be seated, self service drinks is perk to Reception staff were all lovely even assisted in helping hide my wedding dress the day of the wedding while guests had hair and makeup done in my room There was no extra rooms available to hire but after speaking with Yanni I was able to do a first look in the conference room with my little boy and it was amazing. Housekeeping kept our room spotless✨ We had an absolute amazing time and will 100% return.

An absolutely stunning and beautiful resort to stay at. Very clean and tidy,friendly staff and couldn't do enough for you. Food is amazing and lots to choose from,plenty for children too. Both swimming pools are brilliant especially the kids pool. We did a 4x4 trip to troodos mountain aswell definitely worth doing. Best resort for familys
