Hotel di Kawasan Indah di Hongcun, Daerah Yi

Lovely traditional large hotel with modern facilities. Located within walking distance to all attractions in Hong cun. Room was v comfortable and luxurious eg Bvlgari bath provisions. Breakfast was v tasty. Staff were very helpful. Can request for executive vehicle to fro train station to hotel (pay driver directly). We felt our 2-nights there was like staying in a traditional wealthy man’s mansion 👍🏻 Highly recommended

This hotel inside the hongcun village was great! They helped me with a ride from the entrance and back to the station even when I booked it very last minute the same day. The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The location is amazing, just by the moon pond, very centric to everything inside the village. Definitely recommend this place to stay during your time in hongcun!

This is the best B&B which I booked so far. I used to avoid booking B&B due to as few concerns (environment, air con/ heater effectivity and the small stone road may spoil the luggage). I do not have these issues with this one. The service is very good: help with pickup and send luggage, a good welcome dessert, introduction on the tour, good & healthy breakfast). Certain area could be improved, 1) Only 2 cups are provided although knowing for 3 person stay 2) Only provide one chair (better to have at least two) 3) Better to have more space for luggage Overall, I'm satisfied with the stay.

I had an amazing stay in Hongcun! The homestay is incredible, the room was super nice, it was my favourite room in China. Clean, great Air Conditioning, 5 stars! They let me store my luggage for free on the last day and the fish that they recommended me to eat at their restaurant was incredible. I really recommend it, I’d definitely come back!

A great place to stay inside Hongcun. The owners had great communication and picked us up at the front gate with a wagon for our luggage. The room was basic but clean. Good location and short walk from the attractions. The rooftop view was not at the location but another one of the owners properties a short walk away. Was nice to have a walk and take in the view. If you’re looking for a place to stay while enjoying Hongcun I would definitely recommend.

A great place to stay in Hongcun village as it is very near all the famous tourists sites. As it was very cold when we visited, Mr Xiao Wang was so kind to bring breakfast to us in our room and we enjoyed it in warm comfort. Place is very clean with modern amenities in room.

The Homestay is located not far from two of the entrances to the village of Hongcun, and one of the owners came and picked us up at the gates, and offered to carry our luggage. The house is very real, they have three lovely pets and are extremely welcoming and helpful. I speak a little Chinese so communication was fairly easy, but with the translation apps I guess it would be as easy. The owner was kind to explain a couple of things about the village and to give us helpful informations on our trip to Huangshan of the following day. She even made a phone call to ensure we could buy tickets at the departure of the cable cars. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is what we were looking for. Kindness and true people, and a charming room facing an extremely quiet (the village is loud of tourist shops) inner yard

Unser Aufenthalt im Mountain Breeze in Hongcun war wunderschön. Die ruhige Lage direkt am Rand des alten Dorfes war perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer sind super schön eingerichtet, alles wirkt neu, stilvoll und sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war lecker und der Service unglaublich lieb und herzlich. Wirklich ein toller Ort, um Hongcun entspannt zu genießen.

This is a gorgeous hotel in a 300 year old house with a lovely courtyard garden. At the edge of the larger of Hongcun’s lake it was easy to wander through the town but slightly quieter than some of the other streets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice Chinese breakfast.

This place is located within Hongcun ancient city and you will need to purchase the pass to reach the place . The pass is valid for three days. The place was quint and for a traveler looking for an local experience this will be the place with a nice yard and standard chinese home built with wood. The stay would have been more comfortable with better heating facilities. The room was extremely cold even with two heaters being used. It was almost impossible to use the bathroom as there was no heating facilities in the bathroom. Ironically the comforter was the one that provided some comfort in this cold weather as temperatures varied greatly during the morning and night. The boss was pretty nice though, he was a quiet person that spoke very little to guests. However, if you made any request with him, he will not only accommodate it but will value add by taking his initiative to make things as convenient as possible for you. I have personally experienced this and it was a pleasant surprise. The boss took the initiative to arrange for me to reach my next hotel destination right up to its doorstep although I did not expect him to do so. Very much appreciated him for his thoughtfulness. Overall experience of the stay was acceptable, if the room had better heating facilities this would have definitely enhance the comfort of the stay greatly for the traveler.
