Hotel di Kawasan Indah di Hongcun, Daerah Yi

If you need to stay in hongcun, this should be the only hotel you booked. It’s right outside the 月沼湖 which is absolutely gorgeous! When you walked into the hotel, it’s like visiting the olden times. I booked the traditional room which is amazing but becoz it’s old it’s musty and is a challenge for me as I have sinus. Other than that, the receptionist (lady and guy) are both so helpful. Remember to ask them on where the good photo spots are for sunrise. Will book this place again !!!

Lovely traditional large hotel with modern facilities. Located within walking distance to all attractions in Hong cun. Room was v comfortable and luxurious eg Bvlgari bath provisions. Breakfast was v tasty. Staff were very helpful. Can request for executive vehicle to fro train station to hotel (pay driver directly). We felt our 2-nights there was like staying in a traditional wealthy man’s mansion 👍🏻 Highly recommended

This hotel inside the hongcun village was great! They helped me with a ride from the entrance and back to the station even when I booked it very last minute the same day. The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The location is amazing, just by the moon pond, very centric to everything inside the village. Definitely recommend this place to stay during your time in hongcun!

A beautiful stay in Hongcun with the sweetest owners, would highly recommend, especially for foreigners! The room were super cute with a great clean bathroom and even had a small balcony. We were warmly welcomed by the owners upon arrival with local snacks and drinks (super yummy). The owner also gave us detailed introductions to the area and how to best explore, even on how to book tickets for other local experiences like Huangshan etc. My chinese isn’t the best but the owners were so nice andpatient in explaining and answering questions. They even provided us with a recommended taxi driver to get to Huangshan the next day via car pool. Highly recommend this beautiful stay!!

I had an amazing stay in Hongcun! The homestay is incredible, the room was super nice, it was my favourite room in China. Clean, great Air Conditioning, 5 stars! They let me store my luggage for free on the last day and the fish that they recommended me to eat at their restaurant was incredible. I really recommend it, I’d definitely come back!

設施：配套齊全，洗漱用品包括浴巾毛巾都是一次性，這一點非常奈斯。 衞生：每次出門都有自帶一次性床單被套的習慣，但這次這個價位的民宿，還是在景區裏，真的讓人覺得很驚喜。 環境：不管是房間內，還是房間外，如圖所示，都很滿意。 服務：這個是重中之重，服務這塊沒得話説，我們一天內三進三出景區，老闆都是不厭其煩送來接去的，加老闆微信，還提供遊玩攻略，缺什麼需要什麼立馬會有響應，超級五星好評。 還有一點，宏村感覺沒什麼吃的，第一晚在民宿吃的飯，炒菜很對我們的胃口，很好吃，光盤。

Stylish small hotel set in a quiet backstreet of Hongcun Village. Well-appointed ground floor rooms look onto a shared courtyard and have curtains for privacy. Bed, air con, shower all top notch. Provides all the toiletries and comforts most people need. Friendly helpful staff - if yiou don’t speak Mandarin make sure you have WeChat to communicate. Loved it.

It is always a risk to travel by yourself , as a woman, and as a foreigner. Also, booking hotels online might be an adventure. Many places show photos that are not real, and when you arrive at the place, things are not what you expected. This place was the other way around: the reality was better than the photos. The place was spotless, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was extremely professional and kind. From the landlady to Xiao Wan , the housekeeper , who is a force of nature, is intelligent, strong, and capable of solving any problem you might have. As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe in the hotel, and my things were always safe. No danger here!. The rooms and the hotel combine the best of China, tradition and modernity. Beds are comfortable with traditional and soft pillows. Beautiful high-quality bedding. Great and comfortable sleep! Technology everywhere and modern amenities. The hotel is placed in the best place in hongcun. Close to everything but calm and quiet. Best views of the river!! I will recommend this with all my heart to all the travellers, whether Chinese or foreigners. If you go to Hong cun,this is the best place to be! I will be back with my friends and family for sure! If you are looking for a place to stay in yi County look no further. This is the best place to stay in Hong Cun and in the whole county!

We stayed here for two nights and it felt like visiting family :-) The hosts were so heart-warming and caring and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We can totally recommend Shangsharuoshui Homestay and we will definitely come back. The hotel is brand-new and beautifully designed. The room was well equipped and perfectly clean. All amenities were provided. For the second day we were asked about our wishes for breakfast. The hosts also organised a reliable and cheaper taxi to Huangshan North. Location couldn't be better, very quiet and just 2 min walk to the moon pond. Again, it's hard to imagine finding hosts which are more friendly and generous than at this place. What a truly remarkable stay ❤️ Thanks again for the fare-well gifts!

This is a gorgeous hotel in a 300 year old house with a lovely courtyard garden. At the edge of the larger of Hongcun’s lake it was easy to wander through the town but slightly quieter than some of the other streets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice Chinese breakfast.
