We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.

Big hotel 500m from Malioboro, the room quite big for family or couples and there is bath up in every rooms , water heater stabil and bed comfort . they give me a fruite basket complimentary. Staff helpfull. Pool also nice . Breakfast so so .. many variaty but the taste not realy good ( i think) . Will come back again someday 🫶🏼

This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

Enjoyed stay here throughly. Very pleasant service staff and facilities are all new. Room was really comfortable and everything worked really well. Sofa can be a little old and stained but not a problem cos we don’t sit on it as much. Can’t stay much of the location as we just took a cab everywhere but lots of gojek food options around. Will highly recommend anyone to stay here

Staying in this Hotel is one of the best experience I had. Name of this hotel become EMERSIA HOTEL MALIOBORO. Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

We do not recommend this hotel. We stayed 3 nights and we had to change rooms 3 times. In the first room lizards came out of the air conditioning, in the second also and in the third the bed was full of ants. They didn't help us with the tours, the breakfast was very bad (we had to buy food from outside for breakfast) and the last day we had to shower and they didn't let us have any rooms, they made us shower in the pool because they said they had already done cleaning . Also, the building next door is a mosque and they wake you up with prayers throughout the night. It is far from the main streets, you have to take transportation to go.

I’m sorry I have to tell you this but this hotel is overrated. Get the 12th placed in Tripadv so I thought this hotel would be great. In fact, I wasn’t satisfied. I got the dirty bed sheet and when I complained about this and asked to change the room, the receptionist said that they will changed the bed sheet. I try to understand and let them changed it. When the Housekeeping came to changed the bed sheet, he didn’t wear any mask until I asked him to and he went out to looking for the mask :) I mean, this is during the pandemic, why your staff didn’t wear any mask?? The worst part is, when he already changed the bed sheet, it also dirty :) how come you didn’t check on it before you use it? The room itself didn’t satisfy me, the towel is torn. I don’t think this hotel also follow the health protocol during this pandemic.

Pelayanannya okey. untuk kebersihannya kurang menurut saya, karena awal masuk masih ada sisa rambut dilantai dan ada beberapa noda di kasur, slimut dan gorden. Sedangkan untuk fasilitasnya seharusnya mendapatkan sabun tapi tidak disediakan dan kotak tissue nya kosong. Tapi overall bagus sih.
