You have to park quite a distance from the hotel, and two ladies came to carry all of our bags - they were amazingly strong. As we approached the hotel I did wonder what it was going to be like - it's not very smart outside at all. Checking in was very easy. Our rooms were really nice with the most amazing view of the rice terraces. There were chairs on the balcony and two little sofas just inside. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine for our Chinese friends, a bit basic for westerners. We had a great stay in the area and were lucky with a lovely sunrise on the first morning.

Perfect location, modern facilities, stunning view from the room, and very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

A homestay with excellent window view . the only drawback is that there is no elevator for the 4 storey building . Fortunately there are helpers to carry our luggage for us up and down the stairs .

So happy with this stay! High-end, modern facilities in the most incredible location. Felt more like a four star hotel. Some of the best pictures I got in Yuanyang were taken right on my balcony. The room was spacious, the staff were so helpful, and the hotel food was delicious. It's a bit more on the expensive side relative to nearby hotels, but I think it's well worth the money. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended place to stay, with huge rooms, hot showers, and views of the rice fields right from your balcony. No complaints!

I would say everything was great except the room. Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided. Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It"s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

I personally think the room worth every cent paid for as every angle is a piece of art. The owner & workers make us felt very welcome and well taken care of. View wise should be great as managed to capture night photos of ladies carry our luggages, the moon and the stars, however morning was covered with thick mist so just has to imagine the beauty which lies ahead.

The hotel manager was very helpful. He arranged to pick us up in a car close to the parking lot before our arrival. Our room was modern, clean and beautiful. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! You could spend all day at the hotel admiring the terraces from the hotel roof, restaurant or your room. The hotel manager arranged a driver to drive us back to the station. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. We would stay again.

The owner was very friendly and added me on WeChat beforehand to communicate. The room had a fantastic view and was clean. There was no extra charge for the holiday. A wonderful day staying in a World Heritage site.

The room was a bit old, but the view was amazing. The terrace faces south, but you can't see the sunrise in the summer; you have to go to the rooftop to see it. The service was excellent; they came all the way to carry my luggage – very helpful!

The room was on a high floor with a decent view. The owner was very welcoming and even arranged for a lady to help carry our luggage, which was quite kind of her. When we stayed, it seemed like there were no other guests, making it very quiet. However, the mountain air was very humid, the room was cold, and the bedding was damp, so we didn't sleep very comfortably. But seeing the sunrise and rice terraces from upstairs made the trip worthwhile.

The room has a terrace overlooking the terraced fields, the view is absolutely stunning, you can literally see the terraced fields from your bed! The owner is very kind. The weather wasn't great the day we went, and we were a bit hesitant about whether to go up, but the owner was very honest and told us the actual weather conditions. We decided to go anyway, and the owner kept pointing out the route up the mountain. When we arrived, he enthusiastically talked about local specialties and sightseeing routes. I've already recommended the owner to several friends!

The hotel is located inside the scenic area, a ten-minute walk from the Duoyishu viewing platform. It has its own parking lot, which can hold about 11 or 12 cars. After parking, staff will help carry your luggage to the hotel, as parking is not allowed in front of the hotel due to its location in the mountains. Staff will also help with check-out by taking your luggage to the parking lot. The hotel balcony offers views of the Duoyishu Rice Terraces, eliminating the need to go to the platform for a full view. Breakfast is simple: a bowl of rice noodles, sweet potato and corn porridge, and an egg – enough to fill you up. Dinner has a limited selection but tastes good. A bag of red rice was given to us upon departure. After booking, the owner proactively added me on WeChat and sent me the parking location.
