I had booked a room with a king-sized bed, but I was initially assigned a room with two single beds . When I went down and brought this to the reception’s attention, they assigned a new room but had additional issues, including a clogged toilet and a delay of up to 15 minutes for hot water. I returned to the front desk to request another room due to these issues, which was a disruptive start to my stay.
I have booked two separate reservations. However, on the 1st day I was not informed by the counter staff that I would need to recheck in for the second booking on the following day. Upon my return on the 2nd day, only to find I couldn’t access my room. I went down to clarify and they recheck in with a new room access card, I was assured that my access was restored, but upon returning to my room, I found that I still couldn’t enter. It appeared that the recheck-in process had not been completed correctly, another 3rd trip to the front desk again to do check in.
The multiple room changes and repeated issues with room access caused frustration and disrupted my stay. I believe a smoother check-in process and better communication could have greatly improved our experience.
