Galaxy, BW Premier Collection

房間很一般，但是我看了在當地的確屬於OK的了，歐洲酒店內部設定也就這樣，但是花園連着沙灘還是非常漂亮的

The hotel and food was lovely. When arriving late to the hotel they kindly left food for us in the room which was very thoughtful. The standard room is lovely but the space between the toilet and door sadly isn’t. There is lovely baby powdered shower and shampoo in the room which we used. The rooftop bar is lush and the entertainment was also. If you go there please try the Zakinthos donuts they were lush. We would defo come back again if they could make sure we don’t have a huge tree infront of the balcony next time lol. The other thing though to mention was that the lack of loungers for the guests. They had some on the beach which they say is not there’s but they were taking the money for them which I found strange.

First of all, you and your family will like staying here. You won't regret it in any way. The hotel is clean, the weather is superb, the sea like blue crystal BUT, it could do with a few small improvements. IMO opinion this is a very good 3* and you should be aware of the location too as it could play a part in your holiday. The Galaxy BW at its highest is 3 stories so it's not intrusive or overbearing and the whole place is fastidiously cleaned by an incredibly hard working team. There's genuine pride in it from the rooms all the way down to the beach. The location of the hotel is ok, it's a 10 minute drive from the airport but you are not really aware of airport noise and it's quite nice seeing planes coming in over the sea. The hotel is one of quite a few hotels, shops and bars along the beach. The hotel next door is more of a younger persons hotel so you can hear house music blaring out all day and of course being music, respects no boundaries. If I could make one suggestion to the Galaxy beach pool bar team, look up Chill playlists on Spotify and delete the Europop heavy beats. It would suit the hotel better. Music at night at the Galaxy is pretty good with live music from various different artists every night and they are really entertaining. If you are paying for All Inclusive, you should really be aware of what it gets you. Starting in the restaurant; fruit juice is not fruit juice (actually I'm not sure the hotel stocks any real fruit juice) because it's a syrup mixer dispensed at a push dispenser and the mixture is WAY too strong. You end up watering it down whilst missing real fruit. Same at the pool bar. The local Cola substitute is ok but that's the best it can be called. The coffee from the pool bar machine is awful. The beer is nice enough. The included wine would go well on chips but not as a drink. The local alcohol is decent enough but if you ask for one of the 10 or so cocktails available, they mix it with the aforementioned "juice" or mixers. It's a gamble..... This often and possibly deliberately leads you to want to buy the real thing which you can do of course, at €2.50 for a small can. You also then will end up having to buy a hand made coffee if you really want one. We read reviews before we came about the food being lukewarm or not so good, this is not true. The food is not piping hot but it's a buffet and does not detract from the quality. The food has been great with a wide variety and lots of it too. Every day the buffet offering changes slightly and if it comes from the charcoal grill, it will be amazing. The staff that clear your plates and tidy are lovely. You don't need to wear trousers and shirts in the evening. Laganas needs a clean. It needs bins and some pride restoring but it's not bad. It has a party town reputation but we saw none of that from our hotel. In the morning the streets were quiet. There's just a lot of litter. The pool. The hotel with a very poor standard. It does not deserve 5 stars. The rooms smell musty and there is mold. Even the lampshades are moldy. Unfortunately, we spent half of our stay in such a smelly room. Only after that time they changed our room. The receptionist dismissed us every day. The man (hotel staff) on the beach rented our sunbeds (for money) to other people even though we had a reservation. One day he sold the place to 3 people at the same time. I am attaching photos as proof of my words.

I have just spent the week with my two children at this resort and we had a great time. There is enough for the children to do, clean pool, pool tables, trampoline and bouncy castle, the hotel is right on the beach with amazing views from the bar. The room was cleaned regularly and spotless and so was the whole hotel. There is so much food even if we went in towards the end of meal times. Plenty of refreshments in between. The staff were all hard working, friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a tour and booked taxi's for Zante town. We went in Oct as any resort in summer holidays are crammed and busy. It was a relaxed calm vibe, always managed to have a sunbed. All inclusive drinks in family resorts in my experience arnt the best but thats the same where ever we have gone before. Was happy to buy the odd diet coke and top brand gin and tonic, the wines were good enough and cocktails. Short walk to the main ***** with restaurants, it is nearing the end of season but a few lovely restaurants open when we fancied a change. Absolutely loved it would definately come back again. The food is horrendous. We are not picky but when you ask the chef to fill the trays of food 45 mins before the end of dinner and he just removes the sign and doesn’t care it’s quite disappointing. There is very limited choice. We asked the chef on several occasions to “refresh it” a little bit but not much happened. It feels like they are laughing in your face. Asked for late check out on Wednesday, leaving on Saturday and been told to come 24 hours in advance. So we did and the receptionists told us to come and ask 1 HOUR before the check out to see if we can keep the room or not?!? What the….?!?!the hospitality and reception service was beyond disappointment , the cleanliness of the rooms was superb and the bar staff lovely which I don’t think the hotel manager can take the credit for.
