Vossos Hotel Apartments

To start things off the receptionist 'Gary' blew ciggarette smoke in our face and was drunk for the full 7 days we was there and was on *****. He was like talking to a brick wall and couldn't get any sense out of him. The hotel was grubby and smelt like raw sewage and the floor of the pool was slimey and the water was like a swamp. He pestered us at any given opportunity and kept making worrying and strange remarks to the friend i was with. There is a cockerel at the back of the hotel that will scream you awake at 5:30 everyday so if you're interested in staying here you'd be easier staying in Cherry Bay

We came here on holiday with friends zante was amazing but the hotel was beyond poor. the owner was awful he always drunk and could barely function from being smashed all day and night. the pool didn’t get cleaned once when we were there it went from blue on the first day to the last 3 days it turned green. The owner also said we were not allowed to bring water that we would buy from his shop round the pool we had to buy it from his bar which he would either make up the price at the pool bar or charge double he would in his shop which is 10 seconds away.the rooms were adequate but the bathroom on the other hand always flooded as the shower tray had many cracks in leaving the bathroom floor to be flooded every time someone had a shower. The rooms were “cleaned” every day the women would just come in and give you a new toilet roll. I also walked into the room and found the cleaner looking through my friends things on the bed side table which is outrageous. I would advise you to stay away from this hotel.

Review HOTEL FROM HELL Where do I even begin with this place . We were a group of 10 girls coming for a few days of sun sea and a bit of partying and booked Vossos thinking it would be great . We payed for self - catering rooms and had 2 rooms of 5 . On arrival no one was at the reception for around 10 minutes which meant we were just waiting around . When the man finally showed up he was quite literally the slowest person I had come across . He charged us £100 for air con per room and a £25 deposit each for “noise “ even though we were in Zante right by ***** . Our rooms were horrific , with no shower head in one , no shower curtain and no cooking equipment regardless paying for self catering. As for the creepy man , he was severely rude and unwelcoming at all occasions . Despite paying for self catering he told us we had go buy “food from his shop “ or he refused to clean our rooms . He also said “ if you attack us then we’ll attack you “ after doing absolutely nothing wrong . He also made us feel more increasingly uncomfortable every day of the holiday , following us around and staring at our female parts in bikinis . The cleaners at the hotel also just walked into our rooms without knocking , one time one of us were undressed to which the cleaner looked and carried on , there were also no bins in the room . On the last day we asked for our deposit back , when we asked the man said we had to leave or he would phone the police on us . To sum it up the whole experience was just awful at Vossos and I’m not sure who is allowing this weird man to run a hotel . Do not recommend .

A group of 10 of us travelled to zante and after specifically booking self catering we arrived to no cooker, oven or kettle. We went down to ask about this and when they promised it would be sorted within 20 minutes, it took them over a day to install an electrical camping cooker. For 10 people this was far from ideal meaning we ended up spending more money eating elsewhere. We had to pay a €25 deposit each and we would get this back if we were quiet, each night the security told us to be a little bit quieter than the last which was ridiculous as most nights me and my friend came in very quietly and this still seemed to make them very angry. Despite making an additional €250 off of us from a deposit which seemed impossible to get back, they charged us €100 per room (€200 overrall) for air conditioning. The temperature in the evenings were still unbelievably hot and the issues with the room (no shower head, no shower curtain and mainly no cooking utensils) it was quite unbelievable that they were charging such ridiculous amounts. The cleaners would come into our rooms at really inconvenient times each day (7pm when everyone was getting ready) and I was in the shower with the door shut and they would open it to clean the bathroom. This made me feel so uncomfortable as she also started laughing at me whilst I was in there. The female owner of the hotel was fine but the male owner made all 10 of us feel extremely uncomfortable. He would often stare at us inappropriately around the pool and would threaten to not clean our rooms for buying items of food from a cheaper bigger shop instead of his own shop, his words were “you attack us I attack you”. On our last morning after asking for our deposit back, he started calling the police on us and wouldn’t explain why. Thankfully our transport arrived and we were able to leave the awful hotel. Location was okay about 15 minutes from the ***** and 2 minutes from the beach with plenty of nice restaurants around but the hotel itself was awful. For anyone going on girls/lads holiday seriously would avoid coming here.

This hotel was so bad that I was unable to stay a single night. It was dangerous - slippery corridors, poor lighting and terrible rooms and facilities. I left on the same day and the manager/owner was aggressive and is now refusing to offer any refund inspite of the fact I was wondering around in the middle of the night finding alternative accommodation.
