Savvas-Demar Hotel

Brilliant hotel, great staff, the air conditioning unit is a tad temperamental and there’s an unnecessary third bed in our bedroom. Ah lass has brought about 20 suitcases and there’s no room to move. Looked around corner on our balcony and someone’s left a bin lid there. Also got an unnecessary 7th chair. Up the owls.

Don’t going to Savasa Demar Hotel its the most Horrible Hotel in my life was a torture every evening it was like being in a sauna without air I paid 1600 euros all inclusive for 2 weeks and when we got there at the reception they wanted to charge us for every day 40 of euros only for normal air conditioning because I didn't agree, a very big mess, they only change the sheets and towels once a week and an infernal noise so you can't rest at all, I said that my wife has a heart disease and can't breathe and the manger, who is an amputated shrew, said that she doesn't care and she's not interested, after I paid her for everything, don't ever choose that Miserable Savas Demar hotel, it's not worth a cent, I swear to God

The worst hotel to stay at, we arrived at this hotel after a long flight, and then got held in an interrogation room where they tried to force you to buy their wristbands. It was €220 for 7 days but you don’t get the 7th day. If your going to be by the pool a lot it maybe worth it but if not it’s a waste of money. The pool never gets cleaned you can’t see the bottom of the floor. They keep your passports in a “safe” which is never locked for your stay. There’s was 10 of us in a group but we booked in two’s and checked in two’s. Our towels only got changed twice the whole time we were there. The bathroom floods so easily aswell as there are no doors. You have to pay an extra €50 for the air con and safe. At the end of our stay we went to check out there said we need all 10 of us but they were happy to check us in in pairs. I asked them the day before saying what time is check out because our coach was at 8:50. They said just come 5 minutes before to drop the keys back. So we were all there by 8:45 and they inspected all our rooms for damage. They tried to say we lost the keys to one room and charge us €150 even though the cleaner had picked them up the day before so forced us two the money otherwise we weren’t getting the keys back. We then missed our coach because of this process and had to get a cab to this hotel. However they do let you do whatever you want there are no rules and can stay up till 9am blasting your speaker.

when I went there with my friends , the truth is that I was terrified of the reviews. Effie welcomed us very kindly and gave us all the information about the hotel and our room.we paid a very reasonable price for the air conditioning. The drink wristbands are worth buying because you save a lot of your money. every time we asked for towels we had them.the beach is 10 minute away from the hotel . The rooms are very good and clean . On the negative side, I would use the pool, the place is not that clean. An Irishman who works there was a bit ironic when I told him that I was locked out of the room. I had a great time at the hotel and will definitely prefer it again in the future

Amazing hotel. Paid for the 3 hour wristbands on arrival which was 100% worth it as we got our moneys worth in the evenings before going out. Best party hotel, loud music day and night, lots of people there in the evenings for a social. We had an “apartment” type room where we had 6 of us in 2 rooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom, and a huge balcony. This was by far the best room. Bathroom isn’t the cleanest however we weren’t expecting much better. Fresh towels can be given if you ask for them so that was no problem. Cleaner came 1/2 out of the 7 days (could’ve come more). Rooms were clean enough anyway and very spacious for 6 of us. Amazing staff, reception staff always helpful and the reps are very helpful too. Food was good and very well priced which meant we weren’t spending too much on food, especially with the 20% off from our wristbands. Would 100% stay again, by far the best party hotel in Zante, would highly recommend for a girls holiday!!

Straight on arrival the scummy reps groomed us to buy their 200 euro wristbands for all inclusive drinks, tried charging us 20 euro per day each for aircon( 3 in each room) shower was leaking so the room was soaked, any infestation. Would highly recommend not to stay here.
