We stayed at Ibis Styles Ramiro for 2 nights, and we were expecting the level of comfort we are used to with other hotels of the chain. The initial room we have been give was street facing and very, very loud. The AC was not working either, which made our sleep uncomfortable. I asked for a change of rooms the next day, which was received positively. The new room was facing a patio and was fine - although it had twin beds instead of the the double one we originally booked. The hotel itself feels a tad old and run down, with stains on the walls and carpets for instance, but was clean. The breakfast was OK, and the staff helpful. They even agreed to let us store our luggages before taking our train. I would come back but renovations are needed.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location was incredible - around 5 mins from ‘el tubo’ tonnes of amazing different local tapas restaurants. Room was comfy, clean, had a big door you could look out over the street Would come again :)

Great location, just minutes from most of the major attractions, Restaurants and the Bus to/from Delicias Station is right outside. Entrance Foyer is very much like a Hotel. Good Gym, but Pool wasn't available as it was too cold, even though their website said it was. We had a large Apartment on the 1st floor. At first glance it looked really nice, but after a few minutes, you realised that it was of very poor quality - Kitchen was old, cheap Crockery (pyrex), pans with broken handles; you had to run the hot tap for over a minute before any hot water came out - a tremendous waste of resource, especially with a drought in the region. It took 2 days for someone to come and open the inroom safe for us. You have to ask for the basic of appliances - Kettle, Toaster, etc. Bathroom extractor fan did not work and there was no visible signs of a smoke detector either. There were works of some sort going on, but we weren't pre-warned of the noise. We complained several times to the Staff, but they didn't seem bothered. Even the Manager laughed at some of our issues. They did buy us some new pans - I can only imagine, that the 'spare' pans they did have for other Apartments were of the same poor quality, so they had to buy us new ones. Overall, a great location and the Apartment had a very comfortable bed - alas, the quality of the Apartment was very poor and nowhere near the expectations of a 4* establishment.

Very good for position and for travelling around Zaragoza. Busses pass many times during the day and even evening. Amazing customer service and Room. Amazing! Big, so comfortable, and an amazing bathroom. For breakfast you can find sweets and salad plates, nothing special but continental breakfast ok. Not all the staff speak English, but the Receptionst yes so you can have good conversations for your need. Suggested if you have to stay in Zaragoza just a few days.

The state of the entire place gives the unpleasant impression the hotel is about to close down for good. It all is very tired and little welcoming. Nothing has been thought or designed to make travellers comfortable and it looks like management have not spent any money in recent years in this property to improve or even maintain the property to 4 star standards. On the positive side, we booked a suite and it was well worth it. Huge floor to ceiling windows affording great 180° views and a sense of space that made us pleasantly surprised every moment we entrered our room. However, the furniture in the room was completely obsolete. Bed and mattress were from another age, the armchair by the table had no cushion material, bathroom had a 80s design and I can go on like this for every single piece of furniture. On top of this, the large windows had obviously not be washed from the outside for months and were outrageously dirty. Breakfast was a good experience though. The restaurant looked more like a cheap, ageing cafeteria but the food / choice / selection / quality were all above average (except coffee). Great eggs upon order etc. The team for breakfast was massively understaffed but they did a fantastic job / refilled in due time and always with a smile. As a conclusion, I can easily understand the poor ratings of this hotel on TA and other booking sites. I trust our suite made the major difference as it was amazing to have all this space and panoramic views after a busy day (even though I am still shocked by how muddy windows were). But for those looking for service, design and warmth, I'd suggest to book somewhere else ...

I have given this hotel an average rating because I did not get to stay here in the end and I don't want to affect their ratings badly. I am just writing to alert pet owners that this establishment only qualifies as pet-friendly if you have just one pet. I messaged to say we were travelling with two cats and had my booking accepted. Then they sent a form message saying their pet policy was only one per room. I queried it and they said there were no exceptions even if the pets concerned were two small cats. So someone with a giant Newfoundland or Great Dane can stay. But my one cat and one kitten (combined weight about 8kg) can't. It looks like a nice hotel, but apparently can't see how illogical their pet policy is. Owners of multiple pets, beware.

PPengguna TetamuThis is our second stay here. We use it as a stopover on our way back to UK from Spain. Its easy to get to on the outskirts of the city near the airport. It works for us as finding hotels with parking in a city can be challenging as we have a campervan that won’t fit in many underground car parks. Very stylish and comfortable. We think €110 a night for the room, free parking and breakfast is good value. We got that deal by booking directly with them rather than using a broker service. The place was wildly busy with loads of students but the hotel is so big, they were accommodated for their event and we really were not disturbed by them at all. Also at breakfast, we had been concerned that the volume of people would make breakfast difficult but we were fine. Our room was great. It had a coffee pod machine but be aware the cups were the tiniest I have ever seen. Fortunately we always travel with a travel kettle, coffee and an aeropress so could sort ourselves out. WiFi is very good and meant we could stream British channels as despite saying they have them, the only channels working were in Spanish or German. That was the only disappointment. I was very impressed to be able to order a bottle of Cava to take to the room and without asking they gave me the glasses and an ice bucket. Nice classy touch. It is near the airport but then if you book here, you know this and will certainly be travelling with earplugs!

PPengguna TetamuThis 8.7 rating is from 2020!! Restuarant resembles a work canteen, where it is also chaos if any bus trip guest's arrive at the same time as you. 'Hot' in loose terms buffet breakfast here is a daily 3 item exact repeat affair without satisfactory HSE mechanism to keep the items hot. Fruit bowl items are Apple/Tangerine only and fresh fruit selection again exact 3 item repeat every day. If you want english breakfast tea, you'll have to hunt for the Tea Bags!! Staff in the 'canteen' are brusque, and the majority display constant miserable demeanour. Room's are a decent size, NO TEA/COFFEE facility, and NO ROOM SERVICE INSTEAD. The wicker garden style chair's are not at all comfortable for relaxation. The bathroom floor is VERY slippery after shower use, oh and there is no facility to place any if you have your own toiletries for this area in the bathroom. We asked for a room with a walk-in shower rather than climbing over the edge of a bathtub (due to some current reduced vision issues) We were allocated a room that was setup for those with disabilities, i.e. Pull down seat in the shower, and hand rails around the W.C. which was totally offensive and THE NOISIEST ROOM I HAVE EVER been allocated in all my year's travelling. Your alarm clock is likely to be unnecessary as the dust cart and general locality noises serve the purpose. Be prepared to move any luggage by yourself. PPengguna TetamuIt is rated as 5 stars - but do not expect it is like those 5 stars hotels in Barcelona. Staff were nice! Bed was very comfy! Room was spacious! Not near the tourist attractions. Will take ard 35mins walk to the Old town. However, the hotel is well located next to a shopping mall. I personally like the quietness of the hotel and the nearby environment. The hotel was full of 60's / 70's vibes ~ the only one that we do not quite like is - too many mirrors in the room... Would be better if tea / coffee also available in the room.

Not easy to find! The instructions say that the hotel is just across the road from the railway station but we had to ask a friendly security guard to point us in the right direction. The hotel, clearly for business travellers, is underwhelming and is in need of renovation. It’s a long way from the city and you need to get a bus to get there. We couldn’t get in our room door upon arrival and, after trying to ram it a few times, had to ask the receptionist to help. She showed us the correct way (keycard in, out, quickly!) otherwise we would have been standing in the not-so-nice hallway all night. The room was basic but we hadn’t paid much for it and weren’t expecting luxury. It was nice enough and was clean. Only two power plugs (one of which wasn’t working), insufficient for today’s needs, and none by the bedside for powering up phones etc. The bathroom fan didn’t work. We wanted to use the safe in the room but couldn’t work out how to. There were no instructions. Another trip down to reception where we were told there were two types of safes, one with a numeric pad and others (like ours) that needed a special card. To get the special card, we’d need to leave a deposit of €20 and she’d have to call a colleague to set it up. No thanks! We went out for dinner clasping our wallets close to us. Two positives: the aircon worked well and the breakfast was good. Constantly replenished and, except for the orange juice, of good quality. Upon reflection, we should have gone for a hotel in town instead.

super friendly staff, delicious breakfast ad a lot of variety, also gluten free and vegan options, confortable spaces, good wifi connection and privacy. Easy to get to and next to big avenues and city centre.

PPengguna TetamuFrom the reviews I had high expectations of this hotels but, having travelled all over the world, this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. First of all, it’s dirty. The cleaners don’t do their job properly and the hotel is filthy. It was almost like the hotel wasn’t cleaned at all. Secondly, the air conditioning in the room doesn’t work and Zaragoza is very hot. So be prepared for no sleep. They keep the room at 21 degrees minimum and you can’t get it lower. It’s unbearable. I had no sleep the entire time I was there. Be careful about the pool. They make a big thing about advertising the pool but it’s only open a few months of the year. Finally, the staff are very rude. I tried to complain about the above but they simply didn’t want to listen. They were very aggressive, particularly front desk representative Angel. Even the General Manager’s response was rude and aggressive which reflects very badly on the Melia brand. Not sure if this particular hotel is Melia owned or managed but the service is not what you would expect from this brand. Many of the Trip Advisor reviews are false. Look it for the small number of reviews. All in all, one to avoid.

IIan GGood central location with on street parking (if you’re lucky) otherwise pay extra for the hotel secure car park. We found the hotel and room to be spotless and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. And all of this for a very reasonable price. Don’t expect everything to be 5-star… you’d need to pay a LOT more. Instead, accept the fact that the pricing for a city hotel is very competitive and enjoy your stay. My only gripe (and it’s purely a personal one), the bed was a bit too firm for me.

Las instalaciones son magníficas, sólo superadas por la calidad del personal. Atentos, amables, dispuestos,... todo lo bueno que se pueda decir de ellos es poco. Un equipo que son un 11 sobre 10 sin duda. Volveré por trabajo y espero volver por placer.

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay as my vehicle was too tall for the parking at the hotel, or anywhere else in Zaragoza. However, l am extremely grateful for the very helpful and professional service given to us by the staff. Next year l shall bring a car rather than a van.
