The hotel owner is so friendly. She also helps up for the best route that we need to go when in JJZ national park. If you purchase the JJZ entrance ticket via the hotel owner, and they will not give any ticket for you but don't worry because it is fully digital, you only need to bring your passport and do face scanning. A lot of food choices around the hotel. And you only need 5 minutes walk to the JJZ entrance. Really recommended to stay here, will come back again in future.

Very very good price-performance ratio. The rooms were very clean and they changed the towels and toothbrush pack every day.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helped me to plan my three days (Two days national park and one day Bridge and Grand Canyon). They gave me the perfect route to hike in national park. The second day, I got lost in the park and didn’t know the best and cheapest way to go out of the park and hail a taxi. They helped to manage through this situation.
I can really recommend a stay in this hotel!

The hotel location was just perfect. Convenience store next door, the hotel is located in the street of a food market and the East entrance to the National Park is just 5 minutes away by foot.
Special mention to the help provided by their stuff (Zho Yue) who helped us getting the tickets to the National Park and a taxi driver that would take us to the Zhangjiajie glass bridge and gran canyon and later on to the high speed train station. Thanks for your patience and help!

A very good hotel in 武陵源 area to stay. Location is less than 5 mins walk to Zhang jia jie East entrance, just in front of night market, eateries and convenient stores, unlike plenty of those hotels around the outskirt area or unpopular quiet small alleys.
Several chinese restaurants serve buffet breakfast at rmb15/person.
Been there for 5 nights, will be back to stay for future visits. :)

The location is pretty good! For the price, you can get to all the main things by foot (it’s good to walk around in the night, there’s also a food fair in the street) The receptionists are really nice

Highly recommended.
Great location and is within walking distance to the national forest park (east gate). We took didi (similar to uber) from Zhangjiajie West train station to the hotel. It took about 40 min and costs 42rmb one way.
Room and bathroom are big and clean, beds are comfortable and the host is very nice.
We spent two days in the national park, with first day went up the mountain (Yuanjiajie, Avatar floating mountain etc) and 2nd day strolled along the stream, Jinbianxi (entered through east gate and exited through south gate). There are buses from south gate to east gate, which charge 10rmb per trip.
Hotel near east gate is a better option as most attractions are closer to East gate.
