Ulasan Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Century Yijun Hotel

Facilities: The bathroom and vanity were both unsatisfactory. The main showerhead switch was broken, and it took a long time for hot water to come out. The vanity faucet was a rotary type, which I really don't understand; you had to turn it a full circle to get hot water, which was very inconvenient. One of the beds had a ripped duvet cover. Hygiene: The carpet might as well not have been there, it was very dirty. Self-service afternoon tea: None. The front desk staff was okay; while not particularly friendly, they met all other requests. I asked for two pillows, but one of the pillowcases was dirty, seemingly beyond washing. Breakfast was decent; though the variety was limited, the wontons were quite tasty. They also provided a complimentary breakfast for the child.

The hotel’s location is excellent, conveniently close to Tianmen. The room is spacious and clean, with a large TV screen — though the remote control was frustrating to use, even after replacing the batteries. But the Queen size bed kind of smaller compared with others. Breakfast was decent, but the food wasn’t warm enough. The hotel offers a luxury shuttle service to and from the airport, which is a great bonus. However, it was disappointing to find the minibar empty despite being listed as complimentary. Overall, it’s still a fairly good stay.

Good experience, the hotel was clean and quiet, close to Zhangjiajie main shopping street (1km). Nice hotel staff and lovely rooftop.

The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they even arranged airport transfers for us. Overall, it was a very pleasant hotel experience. The breakfast spread was quite generous, and I particularly enjoyed the rice noodles.

The hotel was nice the room Is big and have all confort . The position Is good with ten minutes you can arrive on tianmen Mountain.

Hotel was great infact, modern facilities. The room was nice and spacious however the bed double bed felt abit small. Apart from that all good. The house cleaning I would say wasn’t up to standards though because I could feel the floor wasn’t swept as I could see my own hair strands left on the floor when I combed my hair in the mornings. The front desk are really helpful, I needed to order to some takeaway and they happily did it themselves for me and sent the robot to my room. The location is about 10mins from the 72building but I found nothing else was close by.the national forest and Grand Canyon are about 50 minutes away from the hotel. Tianmen mountain is about 15minutes away. Overall a very good stay,breakfast had normal western food like bread,fruit,eggs and salad but rest were Chinese. Only thing was they didn’t have any juices instead they did have fizzy Fanta.

View was great from the balcony especially in winter season. Staffs were very friendly during my stay

The hotel met our expectations, providing a comfortable stay. The complimentary pick-up service from the train station was a delightful touch. The friendly driver greeted us holding a sign with my name and thoughtfully met us at the entrance, rather than the agreed meeting point upstairs. The use of a Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV added a touch of luxury to the journey! The all-female front desk staff, both during the day and night shifts, were friendly and accommodating, promptly fulfilling our requests for extra bottles of water and umbrellas. When an unexpected issue required us to switch rooms from a non-smoking floor (Level 12) to a smoking-permitted floor (Level 11) in the middle of the night, the night shift staff member managed to find a room of the same type and design. We were pleased to find that there was no cigarette odour in the room, thanks to the hotel’s effective housekeeping practices. The hotel’s central location made it convenient to explore nearby attractions. Popular sites like Tianmen Mountain and the 72 Wonder Tower were easily accessible via DiDi, with fares under CNY10. The comfortable bed provided a restful sleep after our red-eye flight. The hotel offers a diverse range of in-room entertainment, featuring a selection of free TV shows, dramas, and movies from various countries. While not all are the latest releases, the complimentary programmes were engaging, providing more variety than some hotels that offer only standard local TV channels. Breakfast offerings were standard, but the coffee quality was better than what we had experienced at other hotels. The free-flow coffee station in the lobby was a welcome perk. Areas for improvement: (a) Consider reducing oil usage in cooking to cater to international guests and enhance the overall dining experience. (b) Introduce name tags for all staff members to improve professionalism and facilitate guest interactions.

Very modern and extremely clean hotel with very friendly hotel staff. Close to the south are the main shopping opportunities.

the staff are friendly and helpful, the room is great and spacious, location also very great, and they have a free pick up service to/from airport and railway station. there is also a robot who can deliver your food/ grocery to the room, so cute. very recommended👍🥰

Really well located, very close to the Tianmen mountain entrance and not far from the city centre either. Friendly staff; not much English spoken, but happy to assist using translation apps. The only downside is that the rooms were for smoking, nd we did not realise this when booking, they did have some smell.

Nice hotel and good Chinese breakfast varieties . Nice cloth washers but no conventional dryers . Offers shuttle bus to airport or train station .

Such a modern big room. Great view too. We loved also the lobby and the great tourist info point inside.

Close to Tianmen, but still a short Didi ride away. Room can be better with cleanliness (dusty floors, and cigarette burnt tatami)
