This hotel is near a large shopping mall so there are many nearby restaurants to choose from. The rooms themselves are very comfortable. My one complaint is with the breakfast. If I went at the opening time, it was not yet set up for guests. I had to wait until someone brought out the tea, juice glasses, food labels, etc. There also needs to be a better system to request an omelet or fried eggs.

We arrived at the Abba Presidente on 7 January after cruising South America. Even though our travel agent had inadvertently scheduled us for January 7, 2025, Daniella welcomed us into the hotel, and gave us a room until we sorted the reservations out. The location is ideal just a few hundred metres down the avenue is a large mall. The Costanera Center. This enormous centre has every store. You can possibly imagine over multi levels in addition, a huge food court, which includes dine in restaurants, such as Chile, Tony, Roma, and many others. In the short walk from the hotel to the mall, you will encounter Street vendors with many local, artisan, crafts, clothes, etc. approximately 5 km from the hotel, and the uptown area will get you into the downtown anne Moore historic area where many tours are available to show you around and explain the history of this magnificent city. Taxis, Ubers are available, but we chose to walk and it was an easy walk, uncomfortable, and safe sidewalks to the city centre. In the morning, you can wake up from seven till 10 to very good buffet, breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more. I did find the coffee, a bit strong, but that’s my personal taste. The English spoken to me by the staff was excellent and for this I was very grateful as my Spanish is very bad. It didn’t take long to straighten out my reservation and the manager assured me that all was good. the room we had was more than adequate very spacious with a small sitting area a nice bathroom, a large and comfortable bed, good air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi. I could not have asked for more .The front desk staff organized my taxi to the airport on my departure date without trouble I would definitely stay in this hotel again if and when I return to Chile.!!!

Vou deixar aqui o meu testemunho sobre este hotel. Fomos de férias para o Eurotel, nos receberam e fomos acomodados em um quarto para 3 pessoas conforme o que fechamos. O quarto com um pouco de cheiro de mofo, até então relevamos por se tratar de um hotel bem antigo. No terceiro dia começaram os perrengues. Decidiram trocar o carpete do andar, e o cheiro de cola estava absurdamente forte, no qual era impossível ficar no quarto. Fomos à recepção, reclamamos, dissemos que o cheiro estava muito forte. Subiram no andar e levaram um bom ar para espirrar no andar e fomos informados que o produto aplicado não era nocivo ( cola de carpete não é nocivo??? ). Reclamamos de novo e eu queria mudar de hotel (infelizmente fechamos a tarifa não reembolsável ). Demais hospedes do mesmo andar estavam incomodados também. Disseram que nada podiam fazer pois todos os quartos estão lotados.Fizemos a reclamação para a nossa agência de viagem ( que por sorte estava conosco porem em outro andar ). Conversamos de novo e por fim nos acomodaram nesta noite em um quarto para 2 pessoas ( detalhe - estávamos em 3 ). Ao chegar neste quarto de casal, nos deparamos com um quarto infestado de formigas - horrivel. Até então o cheiro não gera provas para qualquer ação, mas as formigas sim. Filmamos tudo e enviamos para a agencia e Operadora no Brasil. Somente desta forma o hotel tomou as devidas providências: nos mudaram de quarto no outro dia, quarto mais limpo, mais arejado. Mediante tudo isso, eu não recomendo para ninguém este hotel. Dicas aos hospedes: filmem tudo, tirem fotos caso algo não esteja de acordo. A nossa situação só foi resolvida porque fechamos com uma agencia idônea que prontamente nos ajudou, os outros hóspedes que estavam indignados com a situação não puderam fazer nada, pois fecharam em agências que não dão este tipo de suporte.

Todos funcionários do Hotel muito atenciosos e prestativos, quarto muito confortável com ótima vista, café da manhã excelente, serviço de quarto é ótimo. A localização é excelente! Diversos restaurantes, shopping, Sky Costanera e outros passeios que conseguimos fazer a pé. Acesso ao metrô a 1 quarteirão.

The hotel is just simply good for rest after a long day Breakfast has nothing much to eat even it is a buffet Room has no phone cannot contact concierge but must travel down to the hall if u need them Bed quite soft and comfy for god sleep

I loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of ”Good Morning Madame.” Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night. There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix. The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish. Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!

We arrived in March, as a result of our airline cancelling an aircraft for 2 days. We were given a large room to accommodate my handicapped scooter, which did not even fit in the the first room we tried. As for the food, I can only comment on the buffets, which is what we were given, overall it was quite good. The bar was very nice, with a friendly and helpful bartender, and it has the largest LCD TV I have ever seen, which would become very useful when the final game for the NCAA basketball championship came on (we love March Madness). Overall, this is a handsome hotel, with a large and airy lobby, but we could tell it was a bit older, with a few things needing repair, refurbishing or outright replacement, The concierge was very helpful, but I had to speak Spanish to get what I wanted, because he did not speak English. We didn't try the pool, but it looked great, and there were cabanas to hang out in.

Our stay at the AC Marriott Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the Front Door Staff to the Concierge to the Front Desk to the Restaurant hostess and staff to the Luna Bar staff, especially the bartenders, to the Lobby Bar and the Hospitality Manager... all were delightful interactions. I am a Marriott Titanium and Hilton Diamond member so I clearly travel more than I really should and I have rarely given a positive review like this one. The hotel location is great, the Luna Bar offers tremendous views of the Sunset, Santiago and the Andes. The craft cocktails are amazing and so are their Pisco Sours especially if you upgrade the Pisco. Our breakfast and brunch experiences were also excellent. We got upgraded to a corner suite which came with a nice bottle of Chilean Cab! The rooms are modern and well appointed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
