"The room is small and lacks things like a litter bin, a hot water kettle, and a desk. Stayed in a triple room with 3 single beds. Good thing is that we can use their restaurant microwave for ramen. So come here with all the food you can bring."

"There are free private parking area for people who stay the hotel, convenience location to geysir geothermal field, restaurant included in the hotel and breakfast was well treated. I stayed for 1 night, offered a perfect view room for me, room size was fair enough, clean, 2 double beds, and elevator included to upstairs and downstairs rooms. And staff are friendly. Wonderful design at lobby area."

"Self-driving past, the evening arrived very late, playing reception almost no one has to pick up, try half a day before entering the room, delayed a little time. But there is a bathtub, the experience is good; under the parking lot, very convenient; opposite a large supermarket, buy snacks and drinks is very convenient."

"💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! "Stayed at The Fox Hostel from Nov 23–24, 2025. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights, and the room was spacious enough for two people.
