Morning View of Ruins and Hot Air Balloons in Egypt

The Colossi of Memnon standing in the City of the Dead on the west side of Luxor, Egypt. Every morning at sunrise, many hot air balloons take off in Luxor. While it's an amazing experience to ride a balloon and view the ancient ruins from above, if you have time, be sure to watch the sunrise from the ground as well. Unlike other ruins, the Colossi of Memnon doesn't have an entrance, so it's okay to visit early in the morning.
