Luxury Tent in the Desert: Banyan Tree AlUla

Banyan Tree AlUla is located in the Ashar Valley. Inspired by Bedouin tents, this resort hotel is built in the desolate desert and has a strong local flavor. Due to its remote location, the only way to get to the hotel is by car. You can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but once you arrive, there is no public transportation available. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the concert hall. Each room is a separate building shaped like a tent and scattered throughout the valley. We rented a car and stayed in a basic room. The room is about 70 square meters and square-shaped. The entrance leads to the living room and bedroom, with a sofa facing the bed. The cloakroom and bathroom are in another area. The brass hardware in the room is very textured. The bedside socket has a USB port, so you can charge your phone without an adapter. The toothpaste is solid, which is rare. The mini bar is not free, which is a bit stingy. The service is average, and there are not many activities in the hotel. The swimming pool is not open to children under 16. BTW, when the wind is strong at night, the tent will make a whistling sound.
