Attractions • Alor Setar Tower: A landmark of the city, the tower is 165.5 meters high. You can take the elevator to the observation deck to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. There are souvenir shops around the tower and a revolving restaurant at the top. Please respect religious customs when visiting. • Alor Setar Central Market: Experience local life with fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, handicrafts, and souvenirs, as well as specialty snacks and juices. • Gunung Keriang: Located 10 kilometers north of Alor Setar, the mountain is 220 meters above sea level. The climb is 1.7 kilometers long, and the top offers a view of endless rice fields. • Paddy Museum: The fourth paddy museum in the world, the building looks like a blooming six-petal golden lotus. The top floor has a 360-degree circular mural and overlooks the nearby rice fields.
