There are three ways to get up and down Xueling: Snowmobile: CNY 180/person. It's very fast, so you can't enjoy the snow scenery, and it's expensive. Not recommended. ×2 Horse-drawn sleigh: CNY 120/person. Many people choose this to go down the mountain. The speed is moderate, but it's not convenient to stop and take photos. If you want to take photos, it's not recommended. (I saw many notes saying that several horses were sweating and still being whipped, and some even collapsed in the snow. I suggest not taking it if you can.) Hiking (highly recommended for both up and down the mountain): Xueling is actually very short, about 2 km, and there are beautiful views along the way! You can save money and enjoy the snow scenery. Going up: Take the horse-drawn sleigh route (just follow the signs), and you'll pass by small scenic spots like forest cabins, swings, pink cabins, and original color cabins, all of which are great for photos!!! At the top: Deer park and popular cabins. If you want to take photos with the deer, you must buy deer feed (CNY 30 per portion), otherwise, the deer won't pay attention to you. After buying the feed, it's best to ask the staff to give you an extra plate to cover it, otherwise, the deer will knock over your feed before you even enter the park. Going down: Take the snowmobile route. Hiking down is very fast and not tiring at all, taking about one-third of the time it takes to go up. There are big Christmas trees and thick snow along the way, which are beautiful and fun!! (Roughly estimated, if you don't take photos, it takes about 15 minutes to hike down.)
