Sichuan Anyue Bodhisattva Bay Cliffside Statues

Carved on three large stones in the shape of the Chinese character "品", there are 19 statues, 12 of which are on the first stone. The first statue was modified in modern times, but the canopy above the statue should be from the Tang or Song dynasty. The second statue is a Tang or Song dynasty dry Buddha statue, with a small statue in the middle. The fourth statue depicts the Western Pure Land, with a central Buddha and two Bodhisattvas, two disciples between the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, and scripture pillars and stone pagodas on both sides. Above the canopy are pavilions. The fifth statue has three Buddhas in the middle and 50 Buddhas around the outside. The sixth statue is a thousand-armed Guanyin. The seventh, eighth, and ninth statues are damaged. The tenth statue is a Buddha and two Bodhisattvas. The eleventh statue is a female deity and two female attendants. The twelfth statue is a ten-direction Buddha in the late Tang style.
