Sofitel Aswan Hotel

There are only five hotels in the world that are qualified to be called 'legendary'. This is the second Sofitel Legend hotel I have visited (the other one is in Xi'an). This historic hotel itself is a scenery, and it feels like returning to the era of Agatha Christie - some chapters of the novel 'Death on the Nile' were written in the rooms of this hotel, and the movie of the same name also featured this hotel. The exquisite architecture and carefully trimmed gardens, contrasting with the Nile and the desert, are very beautiful. The hotel faces the Nile and the ruins on Elephant Island, which is very atmospheric.
