Kakheti Wine Tasting

#chillandthrill Kakheti, Georgia’s wine region, is a paradise for wine lovers. I spent a day touring some of the region’s best wineries, and it was hands down one of the highlights of my trip. The vineyards stretch across the rolling hills, and the backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains makes the setting even more magical. I had the chance to taste some of the finest wines Georgia has to offer, including the famous Saperavi, a bold red wine that left me wanting more. The wine tasting experience itself was incredibly educational, as I learned about the ancient winemaking traditions that have been passed down for thousands of years. The local food pairings were the perfect complement to the wines, and I left feeling totally satisfied, with a bottle of my favorite wine in hand to take home.
