Wat Pak Nam Jolo

This temple was built in the late Ayutthaya period, around 200 years ago. In the past, this area was the location of the Burmese army during the reign of King Taksin the Great, and King Taksin was the victor, so he built a pagoda to serve as a memorial to his victory. The unique feature of this temple that cannot be ignored is the golden chapel, the only one in Thailand that is painted gold all over, both inside and outside the chapel.
