Countdown New Year at Wat Arun

Review for New Year's Festival: For those who are not going back to their hometowns and want to see a beautiful countdown, I highly recommend Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan. This place hosts a spectacular fireworks display during the New Year's countdown. The fireworks are stunning, but it can get quite crowded. The location is convenient to get to, but traffic can be a bit heavy due to the number of visitors. For those who want to enjoy the fireworks from a riverside restaurant opposite Wat Arun, I recommend booking in advance because walk-ins are usually fully booked.
